render crash

So, starting with Phrecia 2.0. My game, PoE 1, started a freeze/ graphics crash that I have only had in PoE 2, starting in 0.3 & getting better but still frequent in 0.4 - like once an hour. What happens is the game screen freezes and sound repeats. I can hit escape and pause the game, this is extra fun when playing with others as usually death occurs. after the freeze (and hopefully the pause works) the screen goes all black (pause screen) and gears. Then the game will resume fine. Until the next "crash". This is happening every map currently. Its doesn't seem widespread in 1 but I know I'm not the only person in 2 that has the crashes. I have already done "fixes" for the shader cache size.

Same thing happening for me. Freezes, screen goes black, then I can run around for a bit before things render back in. Probably killed Xehst just looking at his map icon than without during this event.

My mate had it at the start of KotF and I didn't, then with some update his was sorted and mine arrived. Has been going on since a week and a half into KotF for me.
Seems very much related to fire effects (get it a lot more with chieftain - firetrap, explode, ignite - than any other class). This league's mechanic has fire so without chieftain, it happens less, but still happens. |
