Abyss in POE2 kinda sucks (compared to POE1)

* There are 3 monster factions, but only one (Amanamu) is rewarding. You insta regret if you dont get the right one
* The effect on the Atlas tree that is supposed to increase probability for Amanamu is probaly not working as intended * If you get Amanaum you need to kill them in a specific way to get rewards, but not the might you might suppose as first. OFC this way is not compatible with melee builds and they got the short end of the stick as usual. Also als HH users you are doomed because rest assured in the last moment before the kill you pulled in the black puddle * In POE1 Abyss feels much more dynamic and engaging, chasing the earth as it breaks up in unexpected directions. in POE its pretty static and feels less exciting. * Every now and then not all mobs spawn and there is no way to close the abyss Suggestion: * All 3 fractions should be able to drop good omens * Atlas tree should give other bonuses than fostering spawn rate of a specific faction * no hidden mechanic on how to kill mobs that slows down the pace of mapping significantly and works for all/most builds IGN: “_THE__ROCK_”: level 92 melee ranger >>>> Tougher than any Marauder, no silly walk or spinal injury and has pants <<<< Other currently retired toons level 83-85 fitting the description above… Last edited by Conan_xxx#1131 on Feb 1, 2026, 4:14:31 PM Last bumped on Feb 1, 2026, 2:33:05 PM
