Ailith still able to die after hive encounter finished

Completed hive encounter 24/24 with Ailith's hp at roughly 1/3. Her hp bar disappeared, she said leave, and I started making my way out. About 5 seconds later I got teleported outside and failed the encounter so I'm assuming that means she died after the point that she should've become invulnerable.
