Spirit bugged (weapon sets)

I got a new wand and socketed it with Hedgewitch.

Now, whenever I switch weapon sets, I lose my summoned spectre. Even if I turn off all other spirit consumption so I have twice the spirit I need.

If I take the wand off and put it back on, the spectre reappears. The problem is, I rely on that weapon swap to relocate the spectre (bannerbearing zealot).

I thought it might be the hedgewitch, and destroyed it to see if that was the problem. It is not, so it's unlikely to be the skill level, as that is the same as with my other wand.

The wand is sanctified, in case that makes a difference. It has spellslinger.

The problem does not depend on which weapons are in which set.

The problem only occurs when the wand is wielded, but the spectre is *not* unsummoned if it is active in both weapon sets and summoned while the other set is active.

*edit* ah hah! Figured it out. Spellslinger needs to have a spell inserted. If it has one, this bug does not occur. This is true regardless of whether there's 2x the necessary spirit available.
