More Passive Points and award them at high 90s

Every season I wish we had a few more passive points.
Every season I get to 96 and wish my reward for levelling up was more than 1 passive point.

It should feel rewarding to slog through and get to that next level.

So, award some more points once you hit 95.
95 gets 2 points, 96, 3, 97 4, 98 5, 99 6 and 100 gets 7.

Yeah that's 21 more points total if you manage to make it to 100, but you only get them as an award for pushing through the late game and sticking with your character.

At these levels 95+ you're already super well geared and can complete most content with ease, but imagine having 21 more skill points!!

That would just be awesome and would give me more incentive to chase higher levels.

I'm about to hit 97 and that 1 point won't feel good or like a good reward for what it took to get there.

No thanks. Streamers/no-lifers already get about 5 more skill points than the hardest playing casuals. You want to make it 15-20 more?

Who cares if streamers have more or other players have more? They don't get it for free.

You play what you play.
If you can play more, why not get more rewards?
It makes sense that a level 100 character should be significantly stronger than a level 90 character.

Nah, What would end up happening is those extra 15-20+ points would be absolutely necessary for some builds to even begin to function. Meaning if you follow a guide and can't or don't want to reach level 97+ you wouldn't be able to follow any good build guides to completion. Just more frustration.

Because let's be honest, no one is reaching level 96+ on a build they made themselves. (lol)

Reaching lvl 100 must be more rewarding, than now. Extra skill points, or even extra 2 Ascendacy points. Not a lot, but something, that make lvl 100 wanted to chase.

lol.
Of course they are.
I’m 96 on a build I made myself. It’s on like it’s 7th major iteration and I’ve found the setup I’m happy with.
Many players don’t follow build guides and find pleasure out of the game trying to figure things out and trying things out.

I would be interested in learning what percentage follow build guides vs not though.

Honestly I don't think you need it. I think 80 is when you have enough points to make a viable build. Everything after that is just extra.

Or we could... not. Level 100 already is a chase, for those that want to reach max level. No need to make it mandatory, it's fine as it is. People just need to stop thinking getting 100 has any more meaning or purpose than... getting to 100.
No, it's fine as it is, you'll always want that extra point, you have to find when it's time to stop and move on to another character or game.

Talk for yourself who probably can't do builds I suppose, many can do their own builds...it's not rocket science. What's next? thinking you need trading to complete the game?

To be honest passive tree feels not that much impactful. I wish they rework it in 0.5 Outside of solving attributes you gaining incremental scraps of little power that barely make any diffirence if your weapon not that good
