Achievement "Essence Corruption" bugged - Bug ID 4153658215

Hello. Since the removal of Remnants of Corruption in patch 3.25, the achievement "Essence Corruption" (Corrupt an Essence monster) has become unobtainable.
The issue:
I used a Vaal Orb on an Essence monster as per the new mechanics, but the achievement did not trigger, even after the monster was killed and the essence transformed.

I used the /recheck_achievements command immediately after the kill, but nothing happened.
