Targeting and Namelocking need to be fixed

Targeting - Some ranged abilities, especially spear throws are very easy to miss if you shoot while moving because for some reason they just don't aim at your cursor even if I literally set them to target cursor.

On melee, strike skills suck as rake or ice strike feel bad because if you target an enemy that is behind other mobs, it does some weird clunky pathfinding around them instead of just going in a straight line where I aim them.

Targeting is ESPECIALLY BAD on WASD because if you put your main skill on left click you cannot attack if your cursor is over some item or object, so good luck attacking when the enemy is covered in item labels :)

Namelocking - This is annoying because it just makes you unable to aim with your mouse at a very specific point, it just feels like losing control of your character.

I think many of the targeting issues we have would be completely or largely solved if GGG gave us the option to COMPLETELY disable auto-aim.
I'll add my 2 cents here on the targeting.

I play on controller and my boss skill is Snipe which, let's face it, it's 70-30 success rate, at best, even when you nail the timing window. Using auto target is pointless because if a mob other than your target wanders in front of you, mid snipe, the cursor picks up that target. The alternative, focused aim, is even worse because, once you turn that on, you will be picking up targets all over the place that you cannot hit. Mobs behind walls, proximal tangibility mobs, burrowed mobs, mob walking out out the bog, mobs on a spawn timer like robots and the temple go-go dancers on their platforms in the syn flesh lab and probably more I don't recall. I can't tell you how many times, with 55% movement speed, I run into a temple room filled with mobs and I'm just standing there shooting at air because I can't actually hit anything that's targetable for the reasons I just mentioned. Then it just becomes a mini-game of targeting whack-a-mole. Sometimes, I can't pick up loot because my A button is assigned to a skill and my target is locked on a mob in another room behind a wall. Easily the most frustrating problem this game has, for me, is targeting. The rest of my issues that irritate me, I can live with.

This is BASE controls. GGG we're a year into this and you don't even have basic targeting figured out. It cheapens your game and makes it feel amateurish.

Speaking of temple, you should just bite the bullet and give all mobs a mana drain ring, proximal tangibility and purple balls. You're basically there anyway.
+1 got my Werewolf Witchhunter to Windswept Marsh earlier today and kept getting stuck on the sticks. More generally, Pounce and Shred seem to just kind of do whatever they want and targeting feels more like a suggestion half the time. Pounce flinging me off somewhere I didn't expect it to is always extra annoying.

Also had issues with Rake and Spearfield last league.
