Can we please get overlay

As the title says can we please get some form of overlay for the console . I am getting killed trying to figure out prices and randomly guessing because exile companion doesn’t work. I see all these people who have made thousands and thousands of divine currency’s this season, and I keep either selling things for to little or buying things for to much . It is so hard to do. Please there has to be some way to get some sort of overlay even if it’s just something that guesses .

You are aware that you can just look things up yourself on the website, right?
Sure, a tool like they use on PC would make it a lot easier/faster, but we don't have crossplay (on PoE1), so you're not competing with people who are using the tool. You are competing with people who either have game knowledge or are using the website to check prices (which is exactly what the tool does). I *do* really very much want them to reimplement the quick-lookup feature we had in the old TM, where you could L3 + Triangle (iirc) an item to look up that type of item on the TM. Preferably it would prefill the in-game item search with everything about the item, with most of it "turned off", and you could choose which ones are relevant to your search. (This is how PC price-check tools work). This would make things much easier. FYI, PC players who do use a pricecheck tool also regularly complain about mispricing things. You have to know which things are important about an item to find the correct price, and none of the tools do that. Last edited by QQPQ#9136 on Feb 9, 2026, 6:57:32 PM

I’m not looking for a facetious response . I am not dumb. Yes I am aware I can look things up. You go ahead and try to do that while you are running a console and tell me how fun that is for you . Should I really spend 45 minutes after every map looking up items ? No. Doesn’t make any sense. On pc you can check your entire inventory in 15 seconds flat. Big difference . So please get out fo here with the holier than thou attitude bro it’s not necessary .

" I was not being facetious. I *do* look up things when I have to, using exactly the method I described (the trade website). It takes me, on average, a few minutes per hour of gameplay. Most items I don't need to look up to know they're trash. If you still have to look up every item you find, a lookup tool won't actually make much difference. You need game knowledge. For rare items, you need to know which mods matter. If you have a PC lookup tool, and you click it on a rare item, it pops up a little window, and you have to select which stats to care about. And note, if you tell it to care about something that doesn't actually matter, you're damaging the results. For unique items, most of them have roll ranges that affect values. If you don't know which roll ranges matter, the tool won't give you the right answer. Have you ever watched a Twitch stream of a good PoE player? (let's someone who does at least some racing--think people like Steelmage, Goratha, or Jung) Have you watched them pricecheck "an entire inventory" in 15 seconds? No, you haven't. Because they only pricecheck one or two items in that whole inventory, and it takes them 15 seconds to do 2 items (because they have to check boxes and fiddle with stuff). The rest of it they just know. And if you're talking about gigajuicers like fub--forget it, he's hiding stacks of chaos orbs because they're not worth his time to pick up. 99.9% of the playerbase should not be trying to copy what he's doing. Price check tools are not automatic-correct-value-finders. PoE is free to play. The pricecheck tools are free. Go ahead and install it, and try to use a pricehceck tool. It doesn't do what you seem to think it does. |
