|
hi all!
I'm wondering why in the store i can see multiples waystones with XP but I never catch one while farming or get Xp mod in stones while crafting. I search in AIs and help pages of poe2 but i cant figure it out whats going with that. Apreciate your answers! It's somewhat rare, but not super rare.
Use transmutes/augments on a white waystone first. If you don't hit XP, use an alchemy orb for a second chance. If you're rich and wasteful, keep using chaos orbs. Edit: I confused this with tablets. XP on waystones can't roll anymore. Last edited by MagosX#1099 on Feb 15, 2026, 1:32:31 PM

So much thx for response!.
There are more probabilties if i use perfect or superior trasmutes??? buf.. its imposibol, i just crafted all the cell 60 waystones using first transmutes as you said and after the other orb for more chances and 0 with experience.... I get 6 waystones in lvl16 but no one with XP. Im starting to think that is a bug of PS5... Last edited by T3rm1nus#8947 on Feb 14, 2026, 1:29:45 PM

RNG be like that

" the dude just said: "60 waystones", and you say RNG... And this "RNG" disc has become the hanger where everyone hangs bad loot and defective crafting. The loot in this game is so bad that I complete the maps and come out with 1 or 2 chaos orbs and a few exalts... I've played 6000 hours. This 0.4 patch is really bad. stoped playing poe2. i gave up. |

" Hi. I played 6000 hours. I stopped playing recently because of the loot and crafting, and I'll give you some advice based on my experience. The chance of you crafting a decent map in this game is almost zero, you could say 100% failure. Maps with extra XP modifiers are like 1 in 1000 for sure. I have level 98, 97, 96, 95, and 94 characters. I hope you can imagine how many maps I unlocked to level up all those characters. And I'll tell you: in all this time playing, I only managed to craft 5 or 6 maps with extra XP. The problem isn't RNG. It's just poor developing. Try these: 99.9% of the time when you use omens of chaotic rarity, the maps roll with chill ground. 99.9% of the time, when you use omens of chaotic quantity, maps roll with temporal chain. The crafting in this game is rigged, and it's rare that you use one of these omens and the map doesn't roll with these trolling modifiers. It's not RNG. The game is rigged, and this isn't a bug. It's done on purpose, as it's part of their "vision". i simply left playing ... this game is a joke. see you in poe1 Last edited by Kaiserbla444#2834 on Feb 14, 2026, 2:37:14 PM

To be clear, I'm not disagreeing; they referred to it being a bug, but it isn't. It's just RNG. I never said the RNG was fair, I'm not making a judgment on whether it is or isn't.

I guess this is a legacy mod. It seems the experience mod was removed when modifiers on waystones were reworked in 0.3.0.

The Experience Modifier is "Legacy"
That's right. The modifier that increases experience gain on waystones is now a "legacy" modifier. This means: It can no longer be obtained on waystones that drop or are crafted in the current version of the game. It only exists on waystones that were created before patch 0.3.0 (The Third Edict) and that still retain that property. Therefore, if you see someone mention it or show a screenshot, it's almost certainly an old item they kept in their stash. For current players, it is no longer possible to get it. What Changed in Patch 0.3.0? Your instinct to relate this to the modifier "rework" in patch 0.3.0 is absolutely correct. That patch introduced a major overhaul to waystone modifiers. Although the exact details of each individual modifier aren't always published, the change in philosophy was clear: Old System: Waystones had a mix of positive (beneficial) and negative (challenge/difficulty) modifiers. New System (post-0.3.0): Waystones can now have multiple negative modifiers, making them more difficult but potentially more rewarding. In this restructuring, many "old" modifiers like the experience one were removed to make way for new combinations. The goal was to change the balance and strategy when choosing which maps to run.
