How long from level 99 to 100

Hi Exiles. I just hit 99lvl and I'm going for the first time to get to 100. How much time it took You? For me from 98 to 99 took 36 hours (8.2M/h) including buying tablets and waystones.

Small update. I have 10% after 13h, including 2 deaths which cost me 5% of exp.

So getting the 100 Level rank will embark you in a 130h journey. From my own perspective, it is a huge investment, sorry a colossal investment in term of time.

Something is really broken with this way of XP management, for no reward, players will have to spend the same time for grabbing this last level 100 in same same way of getting their 1-90 levels.

130h of grinding, it is sad for a modern game concept that aim to redefine the genre. lol

I am hoping in a forseeable furture, that's terminology "a meaningful game", would be something that can embark me to level 100 with completing meaninful game mechanics and repectful of my time.

Overall playing should remain a real source of enjoyment, not a grinding mining task at the bottom of a cave named "the way of ultimate end game "

U should level in the temple instead of maps. It's like 10x faster.
Did my first lvl 100 this league and it wasn't that bad. It was just something that happened while building my temple. (yes I hit 100 before finishing the temple)

This is really only the case for builds that are playing the kind of stuff that's going to get nerfed next league.

A lot of "normal" builds are not going to be able to efficiently handle a temple at a level of juice that makes it 10x faster than maps. Maybe up until like level 96/97 it will be better xp, but after that I think a lot of those builds would do just as well "juice" mapping due to the clear speed difference.

Temple has a lot of "hunt down every last mob to progress to the next room" bottlenecks so to really make it work you've gotta be playing CoC/Spark/Something that fills the room and sustains that coverage otherwise a lot of the rooms become "corner checks" or chasing around those annoying cannon shooter mobs.

Whereas in a map you can literally spam effectiveness + bonus xp abyss tablets on corrupted/cleansed +1 zones while running an atlas that gives strongboxes/shrines w magic monsters/extra packs, packsize, etc. and the waystone layouts are much faster to clear.

I'll admit though, if you do have that build that clears the temple quickly, the temple is definitely way faster 97+.

If you are dying two times every 10% of last level, you should probably focus more on defense. And yes, temple is the best place to level up.
