Lost Relic from Relic Merchant after Trial of Sekhemas

I did my first ascendency on a character earlier today and forgot I had a full inventory when I went to purchase a relic from Balbala after getting my ascendancy points. It said I didn't have room, so I went to the relic stash and the relic I tried to buy/bought was already being "held" by the little hand icon/cursor. So I stashed it, and made room in my inventory, then went to buy the other relic she was selling. I had room in my inventory for this one, but it still gave me the message that I didn't have room. Furthermore, it kicked me out of the shop and I couldn't reopen it. I never got the relic (I'm okay with losing it, I don't care about it) even though she took the 400 Sacred Water. This sounds similar if not the same as a bug I had a few months ago, did the second relic you wanted show no mods like mine or did it just not get given to you?
