Atlas is bugged and i can only go backwards

Basically after i complete a BLUE node/map on the atlas it locks itself turning GREEN. After it locks itself i cannot do it again, i cannot progress beyond it. Only thing i can do is literally going backwards on the atlas until i have no more BLUE nodes/maps. I tried updating basically everything, deleting files from %appdata% poe2, the ESC trick on the atlas and other solutions i found online and on reddit. Nothing worked. This thing started happening today on my second character, yesterday was fine. I tried completing the maps on both characters, same story. Anybody got a fix for this?

I'm not entirely clear what you're talking about. Can you take a screenshot and show what's wrong?

It's still not entirely clear. Yes, if you complete a map, you can't replay it (exception - Visions of Paradise Precursor Tablet).
After completing a map, adjacent connected white maps turn blue (available). Then, after completing a blue node and turning it green, the next adjacent connected white maps turn blue. If you've completed all the maps in a particular area, start in another area. The atlas is essentially infinite. For example, in the screenshots, it looks like you have a large unexplored area in the upper left. It seems there was a rare bug before where the atlas was limited to a small area with no further paths. If this is your case, try emailing support@grindinggear.com. I will try to be as clear as i can
Once i complete a map (kill the boss and whatever) no new maps unlock for me So i do a blue map, it turns green, but the connected maps(white maps) do NOT unlock for me Basically the more maps that i do the less i have unlocked Let s say i have 50 blue maps that i can do. Normally after doing a map it s supposed to unlock the next one connect to the one i just did. That does not happen. Only thing that happens is that the map that i just completed locks. Now i have 49 blue maps that i can do. I do one more, now i have 48. The more maps that i do the less i will have. In the simplest terms, my atlas is fu**ed. |

"In your screenshot I don't see any white maps connected to the green ones. For example, try completing blue map number 1, then maps 2, 3, and 4 will become blue and accessible  Or try to explain your problem even more clearly :) Last edited by seaman#4993 on Feb 19, 2026, 4:02:13 PM
