Did you happen to check if any other loot dropped besides the splinters? Have seen that bug reported for several leagues now where nothing drops, not even a rare item.

From my own experience, I've always had a minimum of 1 shard out of hundreds of runs over the years, but majority of those were alched as well. But I've also never had the no loot at all bug yet either.

I forgot my last theory with that one, I think it was the last boss that dies, dies either out of bounds or dies directly in the center causing no loot. Or could be related to a specific boss dying that forces no items to drop.

Either way, if you see it again, be sure to include a bug report # at the time so GGG can check the logs for that specific instance.

If it is not a rare invitation , boss may not drop Splinter.


Rare rarity only boost the IIR and IIQ to make it look like a guaranteed drop, but in fact it is not
