cooldowns in poe2 need to be addressed.

right now with the current state of the game at this point there is not much left to experiment. so with that, i decided to re-visit flameblast. havnt tried to do anything with it since its pre-pre nerf when you guys ( and gals ) at GGG decided to tack on a 15 second cooldown timer. then the team readdressed the timer to 10 second cooldown.

well, after much divines spent, and figuring out pathing, ive spent close to 800 div to get near perfect cooldown gear. a sands of silk robe for cooldown, using the jingling shield for another cooldown, cooldown recovery 2 support for another 30%, and pathing to forthcoming for 10% cooldown and multitasking for another 22% with those 3 nodes. even then with that much investment, unless i use this spell exclusively on chronomancer, it IS NOT a viable skill. not for mapping, not for bossing. but thats not the only skill that is suffering and seeing little to no overall usage. flameblast is just my latest run-in. eye of winter is also not viable to do anything with, even as a cast on anything setup. ice tips arrows which could be a good mapper has a 12 second cooldown, emergency reload has damn near a full min cooldown @ 45 seconds. lightning conduit i can get down to near instant casting but again, with heavy investment. so much investment that honestly you are left prioritizing cooldown vs damage. so even getting the cooldown as close as possible with such a huge timer on skills, they are still not viable at that point due to lack of damage scaling. your current selection of skills are still vary limited for the year in time the game been out. not a lot in the pool to pick from. either add a lot more skills, or please revisit the cooldown timers on most of your skills. you see everyone doing spark or comet or lightning arrow / poison arrow etc because cooldowns ruin the potential of other skills when those timers are set as high as they are.

hexblast is fully dead but thats not a cooldown topic.i love this game. i say this with love...please take the time to read, see my point of view as a player with countless hours, and consider making adjustments. <3
