Unable to gamble anything other than 3L from faustus (Maroma act3)

There is no way this is just RNG, did they change forumla or?

My recollection is that gamble just generates items based on character level, so I shoulda easily be eligible for 4L/4S items. I am currently a lvl 28 ranger, but I started gambling trying to get a 4L at 26.

Not only did I gamble 12 times (9 hats, then 2 hats, then 1 body) and not get a single 4L or even 4S, but I didnt get any sort of 2S or 1S. Items said they were appropriate ilvl (28 on the body, for example).

In fact, the only possibility when gambling for me seems to be 3L. yep, every single item I gamble here is 3L only. 12/12 3L, no unlinked, no 1/2/4 socket of any kind.

This is not RNG, the odds are simply too insane. I assume must be a bug

edit: ahh im logged into my second account, it happened on my main (MannersPlease#4733). report was generated on that account too.

Double edit: after doing lab I ctrl click to zone into town, didn't give me the option to make a new instance but thought it might anyway because we do similar thing for hideout instance bug when trading. This seemed to work, with the new instance (i think?) of town, I was able to spawn a 4L.

I was leveling 2 account at once (manually, ofc), using 2nd account to leech quests at low leve. I suspected it had something to do with the vendor being tied to my low level account sitting in town, which being only lvl 3 it might limit the sockets on the items. My best guess was this was indeed the case, and that by trying to make a new town instance on my higher level character, I was able to properly gamble higher level items with 4s.

This was in a fresh private league as well, if that makes any difference.

That's just my guess. I would still assume this related to whats going on - other people being in town, or even lower level characters creating the town instance, shouldn't have anything to do with the item generation on another account at the gamble vendor, but it seems to be the case that it is so for me in this time.

I will be doing this again later and try to reproduce. I will migrate both accounts before starting again, but I can't really afford to make an actual new fresh league, so won't be a 1:1 attempt.

they were all ilvl 28 (well, the 2nd batch of them, when I double checked after realizing something was way off. I assume the rest were 26 when I bought them at 26).

I added more info to post, will try again on freshly migrated accounts. maybe had to do with my low lvl ally in party, maybe has to do with both that+fresh league? who knows...
