map loading

Hello. I'm having trouble accessing the location. In a group with a friend, I accidentally clicked on his portal to the map, and it started loading indefinitely. I tried restarting the game, but I'm still being loaded into the location, and the loading process hasn't ended. What can I do to resolve this issue?

PoE 2? On the character selection screen, there should be a "home" icon next to the character name, that will allow you to respawn in town/hideout.
