Curious design decisions

I promise, I'm not mad. I gave up on abyss long ago, it's a stupid mechanic having to pull Amanamu mosnters out of their swirlies to get any useful loot. After the "fix" applied to the abyss passive tree a couple months ago the drop rate of omens of light was so bad it didn't make sense to farm abyss anymore.
What I simply can't comprehend, is who exactly is in charge of the development of this game and how they arrive at the decisions that become hot fixes. There is no rhyme or reason to what you choose to fix and what you just leave untouched. This game has thousands, if not tens or even hundreds of thousands of bugs and balance problems. Many are game and/or computer breaking but for some completely unfathomable reason, you decide to hotfix how many omens Amanamu monsters drop? You've taken an irrelevant farm and made it worse, not that it matters one tiny bit. This is the game director's vision? Do nothing for a game that has decades of man-years worth of balance issues and game breaking bugs -- leave it alone for 5 months, but hotfix a worthless to begin with omen farm. It's like the titanic is sinking but the captain has directed the wait staff to add 1 more piece of flair to their serving attire. Mind, blown. Last bumped on Feb 22, 2026, 11:08:19 AM

" because ggg goal to is cater to 5% of players that ether: no lifers/streamers/rmt traders/group runners (loot much better in coop and they can have rarity bot) same thing happened to temple drops being "too generous",lock stealth nerfs, while divs were in low priority in loot tables of said temple which was totally ignored (intentionally) Last edited by TOP_BOMJIK#4977 on Feb 22, 2026, 11:10:11 AM
