Cannot patch/acquire files

Hey folks!

I get an error when trying to download files for the game. It seems to point to a different file every time. Pictures of the error message follows:

How it started:
-Started POE today
-Needed to type in password again due to changed IP
-Accidentally clicked login twice. (not sure if related)
-POE Error message, that it found damaged file and i should run the check.exe in the directory.
-POE closes to desktop
-Run check (didn't read the outcome... just pressed space, when done)
-started POE
-launcher wants to download files
-error occurs and launcher closes

What i already tried and changed nothing in behavior:
-running the updater as admin
-deleting everything but the .exe, content.ggpk, and shader cache (including files in the appdata folder)
-rerunning the launcher a few times
-rerunning the check.exe

Conclusion so far:
Me sad, game not not run q_p
Plis help

Okay mimimi jokes aside, i could use some advice here.
Is this fixable somehow? I would like to avoid downloading the content.ggpk again, due to my atrociously slow internet. I am going to try a few other things and come back here to report and look for advice later today. Notifications are on, so i might try fixing it in between, if someone comes up with a solution.

Addendum: Just ran the packchecker.exe again just for the lulz here is the outcome:



outcome seems to be the same however:

Solved:
-Restarted the PC
-Restarted my router to get a new IP

One of the above solved the issue and the game did patch just fine afterwards.
This may have been a issue with faulty ram or with a "Many users have found that their Internet Service Provider (ISP) may be serving a cached, corrupted version of the game file.", which i read in an error report on reddit from 2020. So yeah i don't know what was the issue or what fixed it.

Issue closed.
