Weapon swap visually occurs but skills continue casting from previous weapon set if cast key is held

Game Version: Early Access (current build as of 23 Feb 2026) Description: I’ve encountered a weapon swap state desync that appears to occur when holding down a cast key during weapon swapping. In my case, I am holding Lightning Warp, which is assigned to Weapon Set 1. I have multiple utility buffs/debuff skills assigned to Weapon Set 2. If I continue holding Lightning Warp (Set 1 skill) and activate any skill assigned to Weapon Set 2, the following occurs: The game correctly quick-swaps to Weapon Set 2. The Weapon Set 2 utility/buff skill casts successfully. The game visually swaps back to Weapon Set 1 after the cast finishes. However, internally, the game appears to remain in Weapon Set 2. At this point: The character visually shows Weapon Set 1 equipped. Lightning Warp animation continues. But skills or effects that require Weapon Set 1 are not generating or interacting correctly. Abilities tied specifically to Weapon Set 1 cannot be used. It behaves as though the character is still in Weapon Set 2 despite the visual swap. This creates a broken state where Weapon Set 1 appears active but is not functionally active. Steps to Reproduce Equip two weapon sets with different skills assigned to each. Assign Lightning Warp (or any other ability with no cooldown) to Weapon Set 1. Assign a utility/buff/debuff skill (or any other ability that can only be cast in weapon set 2) to Weapon Set 2. Hold down Lightning Warp (do not release the button). While continuing to hold Lightning Warp, activate a Weapon Set 2 skill. Observe: The game swaps to Set 2 and casts correctly. The game visually swaps back to Set 1. However, Weapon Set 1 functionality does not return. Expected Result After the Weapon Set 2 skill finishes casting, the character should fully return to Weapon Set 1 both visually and mechanically. All Weapon Set 1 skills, interactions, and generation mechanics should function normally without requiring the player to release and repress the Lightning Warp key. Actual Result The game visually swaps back to Weapon Set 1 but remains functionally in Weapon Set 2. Weapon Set 1 abilities and interactions fail to function until the Lightning Warp (or other weapon set 1 skill) cast input is released and restarted. Suspected Cause It appears that holding a cast key may prevent the game from refreshing or re-evaluating the active weapon set after a quick swap. The visual state updates, but the internal state does not. Weapon swapping should override any held-cast state and correctly refresh the active weapon reference. (this bug may be related to other reports raised by other users related to spell slinger, cast of elemental ailment, elemental invocation & cast on crit as these spells appear to stop generating energy while in this weapon set desync state) Please let me know if if an existing solution already exists or if you require further detail.
