Performance is getting worse with every patch

I don't know what is happening, but it seems like my FPS is just getting worse with every patch. Maybe it's because of the newer assets and effects that were ported from poe2, but the game runs significantly worse than before, especially in juiced maps.

I started noticing this in Affliction, then it got even worse in Mercenaries league, memory influenced maps just having the worst performance, alongside T17s.

Yeah, every ritual (even in act 2!) I dread the lag that is somehow caused by a pack of merely half a dozen cultists (and their pets).

Funny thing is that somehow these very similar cultists, in much higher numbers, don't seem to lag my PC nearly as much when playing in the PoE2 campaign map that is full of them ??
I think its just because all these PoE 2 assets are horribly ported so they make the game run worse, and their shaders take longer to load too. Its just a lack of optimization because of not enough time or devs to work on both games.

They just upgrade the engine from time to time, which results in weaker hardware being bottlenecked and unable to keep up with the higher demand.

I dont generally struggle with graphical issues, but on day 1 of the league i know if the league is going to have massive latency issues all league. If the hops are in my favor 20 ms all league, as soon as the next patch hits could be 20-9k ms the entire league until the next patch.

The shaders in this game really needs improvement. Its crazy how much space it needs, in both PoE's own shader cache + gpu shader cache. There has to be some way to improve this.

Memory influence maps have by far the worst performance for me aswell. I've seen alot of people saying the same
op is probably already aware, but for everybody that uses the search function regarding performance next league here a reminder:

Upgrade your hardware and the problems will go away. Poe might be an older game but you need somewhat up to date hardware, especially the processor.

I went from unplayable with 1500x ryzen 5 to no problems at all atm(prayge rngesus) with ryzen 5 7600(AM5!). I can even play Blight again now :)

Right so there are not even AAA games out there that run smoother on a bigger budget, and your conclusion is for us to keep our hardware updated in a generation that has RAM prices at a skyrocket price, just to play a not optimized game ?

GGG should find way to optimise it not break it even more league after league and telling people that they should have 5090 video cards just to play PoE...Let's be honest.
