scarab protection warning

please add scarab protection warnings to avoid accidentally using scarabs when you forgot to enable the relevant mechanics.

As well as clearer/more accessible ways to ensure you don't keep payin chaos for a map mechanic when you're done with it. It's annoying how often I make the mistake on those when better setup interfaces could easily prevent it.
