Home Run!!!! Thanks Mark and team!

Just wow! End game needed some real love and that is what we get plus so much more! When Chris left I thought it was the end of my favorite game. Boy was I wrong. It took awhile but here is Mark and team creating what I know is going to be one of the most unique expansions in PoEs history. I like them taking risks like this. The game is fantastic but t17 were so bad for the game. I am happy to see the memory stuff as a focus as that content is under appreciated and a more fun end game system than t17. My favorite time with the atlas was when it had influence. So happy to see that back! I could probably type for an hour but I won't. Just thank you to everyone who works on poe 1! This is the GAME OF GAMES for me and I cannot wait to dive into 3.28 Mirage!!!!

I will 100% buy a supporter pack this league to show my appreciation. I've held off waiting to see the direction of my favorite game. Today I was proven this is a game that is not going anywhere. Not with exceptional ideas like we are getting next week!
PoE 1 is the best. PoE 2 is something.

What’s the benefit of random, uncontrollable bonuses?
Why do we need to press some unclear “petals” on mobs before killing them?

Every map you have to read what rolled. No control. No planning. Just more RNG and micromanagement.

How is this better than T17s?
T17 is clear, predictable, and hard. You see the mods, you understand the risk

"unclear" dude read the description, it is all there. Clearly you have no idea how powerful they are. I understand a handful of people will miss t17. Most of us remember how amazing the game was before they came. It was indeed way better and now they can start doing fun things with the atlas again as end game focus. Not some terrible idea that is now dead for a reason.

Even if there are things that are not better than before. The extra content and the amount of additions and changes to keep the game interesting is amazing!

And nobody can complain that they don't listen, they did the changes that many asked for with Kingsmarch now requiring Ore and ground loot beingbuffed and juicing being much better again due to Mirage mechanic.

This looks like one of the big leagues that we will remember!

Absolutely! We all still talk about Affliction in chat. This has the potential to be that awesome. Changes are fun. Some people are scared of that. I am not, Mark is doing us some real good lately in poe 1.

You’re missing my point. I’m not saying they’re weak, I’m saying they’re uncontrollable. Power isn’t the issue, agency is. If the petals give random effects every map, you can’t focus on a specific strategy, you can’t properly optimize, and you can’t consistently build around something. That’s the problem. It turns mapping into an alch-and-go system, which is fine for players who don’t care about efficiency, but for those who want to specialize and min-max, randomness without control just feels bad. T17 wasn’t perfect, but at least it was clear and intentional.

fyi: Memory Skills have been removed from Originator Influenced areas. You can still collect Petals in these areas, which now instead grant a higher chance to find items with Memory Strands.

The entire system was reworked for the better.
