so imbued gems eqals more mana problems in general

dealing with mana on spell builds is going to be extra pain me guess
POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.
I petition to return all the fun stuff that was removed or nerfed over the years back into POE1.

Unless i am heavily missunderstanding something i doubt this new mechanic will find much actual use.

A) There are like what 50 - 60 - 70? support gems of each attribute making it a potentially 1:70 to hit the desired one? That means u need to level and corrupt and quality 70 skill gems, which is like 11 and a half badges of skills you need to level to 20...

B) U lose a level, 3 quality and the potential for vaal skills, making the "gain" of these things pretty much exeptionally minor outside of some niche cases.

C) The supports are level 1, meaning really impactful gems like for example GMP you dont even want since the less damage multiplier + less projectiles compared to 20/20 is too impactful. Some for Spell echo or anything with less multis and anything that gains additional casts/attacks/projectiles due to levels or reaches other substantial breakpoints.

D) Mana costs.
[Removed by Support] you can still double corrupt your gem to hit 21/23. You dont HAVE to imbue them. If you cant handle the mana dont imbue it. Whats worse for mana is the greater support gems have higher cost multipliers.
