Suggestion for ground loot

About the loot conversion and the thing about rares and map boss (in the interview with ZiggyD where they said they were worried about buffing rare enemy drops might make map bosses seem unrewarding and buffing map boss drops might incentivize only killing the map boss), why not make every rare enemy killed make the map boss more rewarding (i.e. add loot to the boss or like for each rare add a stack of lucky drops to the boss) and killing the map boss makes the rares more rewarding (i.e. adding more converted loot to the rare mobs or guarantee a random conversion including non-exciting conversions like to gold or to helms).
It feels like this would incentivize killing all rares and the map boss and would add exciting spikes to the game. If this sounds like a good idea to you try to get ggg’s attention to this thread. Last bumped on Mar 4, 2026, 3:39:15 PM
