Dawnstrider - busted (in a bad way)?

Okay, I was just perusing the poewiki and I came across a rather common 1c unique pair of boots called Dawnstrider.

And I was reading, and then just had to scratch my head because it has one modifier that is completely canceled out by another.

"Socketed slam gems are supported by level 25 Earthbreaker"

But the last line is "Ancestral Bond"


This made sense... when we had slam totems but we haven't had those in two or three leagues now. The new shockwave totem, I guess? (the old one does not have a 'slam' tag).

So, since slam totems have not existed for over a year and a half, why haven't these boots been reworked, because you can't use earthbreaker with Ancestral Bond because you cannot do direct damage with bond.

So you won't be using any slams at all.

Earthbreaker support makes a slam into a slam totem.
