the logic behind nerfs

kinetic fusillade was the most popular and at the top of what streams used to break the game so OBVIOUSLY slams were nerfed..

i cannot go 5 min on youtube without seeing more kinetic fusillade builds and it remains untouched and getting a new ascendancy that would make it better?? i just wanna understand the logic behind those choices :(
Remove (One attempt only mechanics) in this game full of lag spikes, one shots and random disconnects.

Slams are still completely broken, sure you go from 150M dps down to 100M...

The fact that you mention Slams while complaining about nerfs, renders your whole opinion irrelevant. If you had brought up other archetypes or skills, one could have agreed with you.
Affliction, Necropolis and now Keepers are the worst leagues ever. Loot-shower fest, chase uniques too available, stacked decks and valdo boxes are a flawed design, and now the genesis tree handing out overpowered items hence invalidating several farms and crafting avenues.

The nerf on Earth Shatter is from 393% to 329%, or about 19% relative. 150m dps would become 126m.

The only other slam skill changed in the patch notes was consecrated path, which got a slight buff.

End of the world for slam players people, all slams unplayable from here on out.
They hate players being strong.

Or they use ChatGPT for balancing, which is soulless and doesn't get what real humans want.

Honestly changes to poe2 and recent changes to poe1 looks like some AI decisions.

No one wants 'balanced' solved game. Players want OP builds every league. Nerfing old builds without adding new ones is wrong.

Same goes for Blight. Why even nerf it? Add MORE strong farms.

You're just forcing your opinion onto the rest of the player base in every post you do. For every post agreeing with you there are 5-6 who disagree so stop the bs.
The reservation for the slam thing was also changed, which is a global nerf to all slams. That being said, GGG just added the skill last league, chances are they are waiting to see how the new support gems shake things up before nerfing kf down to its deserved power level.

Remove MF from POE, make juiced map the new MF.
Earthshatter has been in the same boat as fusillade for way more time hence why its the one that got adjusted, its a numerical overperformer (and still will be) because it overlaps significantly.

Sure they should probably nerf fusillade as well but realistically it actually feels pretty bad to play, its totems where its overperforming which makes it messier to actually fix.
