Stormbind Tranfigured Gem Suggestion - Stormbind of Wildfire

I've theory crafted an ignite build using Stormbind a couple of times, different leagues, using either stormfire or Elementalist (when golems were crazy). But it never really had the ailment damage scaling I was looking for. It had the relatively high base damage/fully charged effectiveness but too much of its damage was in its ability to shotgun. Which is useless for an ignite build.

My suggestion for a possible Stormbind transfigured gem (when/if it gets a 2nd), is that the ability to (easily) shotgun is removed and it's turned into a fire damage/ignite build. Maybe it keeps the lightning damage but gains the modifier "lightning damage can ignite" and the more hit and ailment damage multiplier is increased but changed to only ailment? You still need to channel and spend mana, but the mana spent can't spread to other runes (harder to shotgun) and the base radius of the explosion (not the rune itself, it's already too large to fit in some corridors) is increased. The amount of mana you need to spend should probably be increased to account for this, as that's what separates it from flameblast and one rune is extremely easy to charge.

Increased Area/not shotgunning is honestly just to taste/make it distinct from the regular version, ailment scaling and innate ability to ignite are what I think would make this work balance wise.

Just thought dumping, have had this idea rattling around in my head for a couple leagues and thought I'd put it onto a screen.
