Integrating MTX coins in the game?

I was wondering what you guys' thought about adding a new item that somehow could integrate MTX coins into the game?

I was honestly thinking it would be really cool if GGG added a super rare item that had the ability to offer you an X amount of MTX coins. I was thinking there could be a few ways to approach this idea:


1. Player Drop Exclusivity: The "item" that would drop would be exclusive ONLY to the player that would drop the item. As much as I think it would be kind of cool to see an item like this in the economy, I think it would be best appropriate to mitigate any trading, in order to avoid any unnecessary complications such as RMT or an inflated economy. Of course GGG is dependent upon the purchase of MTX coins in order to continue their projects throughout early access, so to create an absurd inflated market of these "items" would ruin GGG's income. Therefore, I think it would be a fun/cool add-on where players can individually or in parties, farm these "items". As far as I'm thinking, because these drops would be so rare, players would still be heavily reliant on using real money to purchase MTXs. This would just be a fun add-on for people to be incentivized to farm in the end-game.

2. Incentives: It would also create more incentive for players to continually play the game even when everything in the end-game is "finished", as there might be a player base that would want more MTX skins. At least for me, this makes me want to continually keep playing in the end-game.


3. Passive Point: So this one might be a bit over-the-top, but to be honest I think it would be so cool, if the "item" you drop, would actually give you the option of CHOOSING between acquiring the MTX coins, OR gaining one additional passive node on the skill tree. I think it would be really cool if for the demographic of players out there that may not care about MTX skins, there would be another option where they can utilize this "item" and turn it into a passive point instead. That way, it's a win-win for both parties. And I completely understand that the X number of passive nodes is specifically designed to mitigate any imbalance on the tree. Which is why, I think due to the rarity or scarcity of the item actually dropping, I honestly think it wouldn't really make any significant changes to the skill tree balance at all. Considering that leagues only last for 3-5ish months, I think if you can make an item like this so rare, and because of player drop exclusivity, it would be impossible to buff up your character via passive tree. And it makes it even more fun/interesting as you would have to be torn to decide between adding one additional passive node, OR turning it into MTX coins. I think this would be so cool, as you have the choice to pick between buffing your character, or adding new skins.

4. Rarity: Obviously due to it's potential value, the drop rate of an item like this would be absurd. Either parallel to a mirror or even more scarce, considering there have been players somewhat lucrative with raw mirror drops farming temple. Maybe even having it drop in end-game maps only?

5. Party Farming: I think this could be a great opportunity to bring the community together, similar to temple farming. The temple mechanic is probably one of the best things GGG added into the game, and I think one huge component of that is because of party-based gaming. Community coming together is huge, and I think this could be another great opportunity for players to party together to farm this "item". However, as previously stated about player drop exclusivity, I think it would be cool if players are partied and in an instance together, if they kill a monster and it happens to drop the "item", it would drop one for each player (similar to how in parties, there are duplicate item allocations). And there would be absolutely no way another player can pick up someone else's loot. It's exclusive to each player, based on the party size and if they're in the instance. And even if a player happens to disconnect, leave, or for whatever reason they are unable to obtain the "item", even so no one else can pick it up.

Conclusion:
I just think it would be really awesome if GGG added some additional items that brought more incentive to farming. The temple is great and has been very lucrative this season. But honestly, I think adding an additional component where you can farm for things beyond just the league, such as MTXs would be super fun and engaging. I feel like it would create more incentives to keep playing even after everything in the endgame is finished.
