Shadow: Lightning Arrow/Chaos Inoculation

Shadow: Lightning Arrow/Chaos Inoculation (53/111)

Shadow: Lightning Arrow/Chaos Inoculation (87/111)

This is my first post in this sub-forum, it's also my first build.

I did nothing really out of the ordinary. I am mainly posting this to get feedback.

I don't see the point in planning for extremely high levels. After some consideration I expected that someone would say "you need more resists" or "you're not far from the Witch starter, might as well grab what's there." So I just did exactly that, spent more points to get higher resists, more energy shield, and more elemental damage. I then posted the two builds as separate - one fore mid-level, and one for high-level.

So yeah, tell me what you think :)

And yes - I know this build is very focused on lightning damage. That is completely intentional. I like lightning arrow for a lot of reasons, but the biggest one is the satisfying graphical effects.

I picked this build to try out on my new Bow-Shadow i started yesterday.

While at work today ive been going through your spec and, imo improved upon on it.

Please, allow me to explain the changes, fairly obvious ones atleast to me.

Started out by going the lower way in the start, as we dont want unneccessary spell damage, we much prefere atk-speed and Projectile damage (the same amount of nodes is used).

Secondly i didnt pick the big 30agi node in the starting area (leaving that one open if you need the dexterity)

Thirdly, i went the max frenzy charges path towards Ghost reaver, instead of Max power charges (which is useless for us), this however requires one more node than the Power charges path. Thats fine tho, as i will likley have frenzy or blood rage in my build somewhere.

Other than that i've just gone straight for the exact same key-nodes as you have, but used less points on unneccessary paths.

This leaves us with a few spare points for really high level, which can easily be used in one of the 3 Physical bow dmg-clusters in the south/South-east part of the builds area.

See example:

What we gain with the same Key-nodes picked, with my build compared to yours:
24% increased Projectile damage
36% Increased Physical damage with Bows
6% Attack speed
15% Increased Critical strike chance with Bows
35% Chance of Arrows Piercing
3% Movespeed

What we lost with the changes:
70 int from 7x10int nodes
70 dex from 2x30dex and 1x10dex node (two 30dex nodes which can easly be picked up)

To me, the offensive stats with my build easily makes up for the int and dex loss, any thought on this, or even better improvements?

Feel free to discuss and further improve this LA/CI focused build.
