The -15% exp penalty is obnoxiously bad outdated design.
I find it a bizarre mentality that dying should not bring considerable damage to the character in question. If one can die just to take a shortcut to town and not think any further, there'd be something wrong.
This signals the end of a post. I apologise to everyone who had to suffer through it.

its a great design that actually keeps you on your toes even against weakest mobs and not mindlesly rushing in areas like a headless chicken.

Pretty much all of the online games I play have had some kind of penalty for death, to some greater or lesser degree. The harder games have the harsher penalties, while the ones for more casual players are easier.
This game is not for casual players, so it makes sense that there is a penalty that makes you think twice before jumping into a dangerous situation. I'm not a n00b- I'm a Online Game Floor Examination Expert.

" Or do you lose 7.%/15% AND go to default ? |

Xp-loss is good.
Makes you more careful and doing your best to avoid dying, brings out your A-game. As the servers stabilize, this will be no problem but instead incentive. If there was no penalty, dying would lose it's meaning. Alexis *smiles* =@[.]@= boggled =~[.]^= naughty wink Last edited by Kwonryu#3444 on Feb 4, 2013, 5:08:36 AM
