hi there. was hust thinking about starting aknew in poe with my old 76 ranger but there is something i cant explain ( still waiting for french trad this game is so complete that it tooks me too much time to understant all in english) in the guide you are talking about a combo with Hatred+HOL+COH+AM first of all what is HOL ( cant find it in the acronym llist ...) and than i really have difficulties to understand its mechanics. if i understand well coh works only with an active skill isnt it? so how could it work like this. thanks	Posted by gunryon on Nov 17, 2015, 5:15:21 PM Quote this Post
It's in fact HoT, ie. Herald of Thunder. I prefer Herald of Ice personally, it adds more to clear speed and has less int requirement. CoH will work on herald secondary effect (be it HoT or HoI), which happens very often since we this is a crit build with high freeze capacity (thanks to Hatred) and moderate chance to shock (if HoT is used, high if physical to lightning is used on your bow skill(s)). Ranger builds list: /917964 When two witches watch two watches, which witch watches which watch? If the witches watching watches watch the same watch while you watch which witch watches which watch, they switch watches; then, the watch switching witches watch which watch you watch. Hello, I need some advice. I feel like I could get a bit more of DPS out of my gear, if I knew what I am doing. Sadly, I don't. BUT if i use it on a 4 L piece ( not my main attack ) can it scales with the lightning damage of my main attack ( actually using lightning arrow instead tornado shot during its lvl up) also due to hatred best chance to cast curse if i still understand it well is HOI cause secondary effect is an effective proc on each crit? not dpending of chock chance (and the min damage requirement necessary for the shock chance) true? Check both herald's description: HoI: If you shatter an enemy, they explode and deal AoE cold damage to enemies near them. HoT: If you kill a shocked enemy, lightning bolts will strike enemies around you for a short duration. In case of HoI, since we crit a lot and use Hatred which adds a lot of cold damage, we shatter a lot of ennemies, thus HoI's AOE will trigger and curse all ennemies in the AOE range (which will normally die in the next half second). In case of HoT, with crit you may shock since HoT adds a bit of lightning damage to your attack. If you kill those shocked mobs, HoT's secondary effect will trigger and it will start cursing everything around for a few second (and explode barrels and wood boxes, giving you lucky exalts :p). It tends to curse more than HoI and more in advance, ie. its cursing is sensibly more effective. But overall I feel it contributes less to clear speed than HoI, whose AOE is great, almost on par with Herald of Ash secondary effect. This will increase cursing effectiveness overall. ok its just that i use PCOC on my lightnnig arrow atm due to a wrong colour combinaison of socket and as im still farming on 3rd act ( lvl 64 zones)i one shot or 2shot almost all mobs i can see (except rares or more) so i cant see really the effect of the assin mark. at least i would like to leave it and generate those power charges only by the curse but i think it ll went later with more resists and life and on more stronger creeps :/ anyway ty for answers	Posted by gunryon on Nov 18, 2015, 6:38:43 PM Quote this Post

Joseca 1. 6L in bow (crit multi gem give nice dps boost especially with quality) 2. 20 Quality in all your Harbinger gems 3. jewelry: you need 2x diamond ring with high phys. dmg, life and res. High phys dmg and Crit. Multi in Amulet + of course life and some res if you still need. Accuracy is great too. 4. Belt - change to rustic sash with high life and tri res, ewd or life flask charges gained is a bonus. 5. your tree no need big changes, only if you need more res then "survivalist" or "cloth and chain". If no then in next moves: "heartseeker", "Savagery" for next frenzy and "Master of the Arena" for 1% life (which helps with Blood rage) and +20 strenght. Maybe then you can reskill this +30 strenght "prowess" It's all i can advice, maybe "Neversink" see something more.
