Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page & POE 2 Arc Summary

Is Leap Slam essential for this build? I like Flame Dash better.
Hi, thanks for the guide update.

Interesting and pretty wild changes from the last iteration. I decided that I will play arc self cast this league because it is till my favorite skill mechanically, it just too much fun so have to go back to it every now and than. Considering on starting with this guide and modify on the way a bit. Seeing that arc receives a visual upgrade just reassured me in that decision - cant wait to see the new animation. Also the boost to the range seems like a nice quality boost - how significant is the 25 to 35 range boost btw?

The switch to staffs and hybrid hp pool seems like fun since I have not played around with these mechanics too much before. The non damaging ailment swap to freeze is also interesting. Hope this turns out to be cool.

I was looking at your tree in Path of Building and strangely enough arcane swiftness (which is a shield node) seems to give a pretty nice boost to DPS thanks to the 50%+ block change the build has with Rumi's, this is like a 50% increased spell damage and translates to a 9.2% DPS increase (on paper) compared to the 6.3% increase from heartseeker for example. Maybe I am missing some detail or my POB is just not right, but wondering if you have considered this as an annointment option. Also Prodigal perfection looks like a good option with the amount of mana this build has - and it is also a fairly cheap anointment compared to the others.
Hi Enki, thanks for the build! I don't usually play witch but this looks like a very fun league starter.

I had one question regarding your passive tree, you use Elemental overload until maps, then spec out of it from lv 80. Could you explain the advantages of that choice? Is it to exploit the crit multi the builds gets access to in the endgame?

Cheers!
Hey,

Thank you for this guide.

I noticed the passive trees in Leveling sections are having a gaps. (e.g. Act6, Act5).

Q: Is this intented by you, or its a mistake?

Hey, on the gear thing, rings still have assassin mark, didn't this stop working for spells?

No, Assassin's Mark on hit still works with spells, as long as the spell hits (as opposed to DoT). I'm guessing you're thinking of mana leech, which no longer works with spells?

That said, Shaper's rings will definitely be in shorter supply post-3.9. Getting a good one will probably require either crafting or a decent amount of currency.

Having visited Enki91's Stream before and heard him answer this question many times with previous versions.

I would say No, Leap Slam is not essential.

Enki91's opinion usually is if you prefer Flame Dash, use Flame Dash, or Lightning Warp, or any other movement skill you prefer.

Unless I'm missing something and there's some kind of Synergy with Leap Slam, but I doubt it...?

I think he's just changing things up a bit, but he also usually encourages people who follow his guide to use it to learn the game and test other things... especially something like the preferred Movement Skill.

Just my 2 cents... :)

In theory yes, you are right. However, since most content will be harder in 3.9, being tankier is essential for any build. Since spellcasters have limited ways to proc Fortify, Leap Slam is one enabler to it, since we use staves. So I would say that it is by no means necessary, but a huge defensive asset that would be lost!

Fair point!!! I consider myself still pretty young with my experience in this game. I didn't consider that part. Ty!

Enki's arc or Kay's summoner?

The Choices.....

Exactly what I'm considering

summoner would be more reliable

the new league bosses and new atlas bosses might be too deadly to stand around to cast stuff

Which could very well mean that minions will actually die as well...we just won't know for sure until we get there. So, y'all go Enki/ARC...that way Summoner gear may be cheaper for me, lol.
Well... I'm still newbie in game... And got question, is there an error in PoB? Cuz there's 5link used in helmet. And I didn't see 5linked helmet yet and thought that it's impossible.
