1.3.1 Patch Notes

Well i do actually care about LLD-PvP .. i used to be in top 10 ... haven't played it lately ... so no idea where i'm now i honestly kind of got bored of it for now ... anyway ... as i said i totally agree that this change doesn't affect that much the PvE experience of facebreaker builds ... but my point is that it seems that this is and it's going to be the way of working/balancing/changing things around ... and i'm concerned that further changes aimed to balance pvp might actually affect greatly the PvE and not in a good way ... sometimes even unwanted nerves (you know collateral damage) ... i don't say that it will happen ... i'm just concerned that it might.

Just an example .. what if GGG decides that cyclone should no longer grant stun immunity while you are cycloning because that is a big advantage in PvP ? Wouldn't that affect the PvE performance of every build that uses cyclone ?

balancing the game through pve and pvp is hard to do and yeah having some small changes that affect pvp too isnt bad.

remember how many ppl were crying cause they nerfed "balance" their top capped block builds?

still after all these hundreds of posts, right now block is very good balanced and still in pvp is very OP.

id love to see that change in cyclone finally! having insane aoe dps, destroying every kind of traps, being immune to stun and knockback is so ridiculous..that's why there was this change too "20% Less Attack Speed" and the pvp dmg reduced by 10%.

For the block i think that PvP initiated the balance but it was also needed in PvE ( especially with the new counterattack gems ) ... as for block in pvp being op ... i can't agree .. especially in lld ... a simple reduced block chance gem is enough to leave your poor opponent with no more than 10-15% block chance .. and that is way far from being OP

Well that's what i mean ... balancing cyclone that way will harm pve experience a lot ... and i don't want to see that change ... at all ...

To me it seems that you've gone from the reasonable "I care about PvP too!" to the "I care only about PvP!"

Did anyone of the "Facebreaker is nerved soooooo bad" guys notice, that FB-CRIT builds might be really strong with that new helmet?

Like allways! Cry first, than go playing!

Btw. Vengance nerf was announced about a week ago. So it should have been possible to make up some workaround for that in the meantime!

Someone complained about trying to improve the AI of tormented spirits "near the end of the league".

O'RLY?

Those Spirits are here for about 6 weeks now. They changed spawn rates first. After collecting a usefull amount of Feedback, they now improved the AI.
I don't see any problem there, as those spirits will obviously make their way into the coregame lateron!

The current league will be on for at least a month and a half more!
There is still not even a deadline announced for the ongoing leagues.
There might be drastical changes DURING this league in fact. There might be a switch of Mods for the first time or some unexpected new encounters lateron. GGG allways got an ace up their sleaves.

Early April might be the release of Act4 if everything works out like planned for GGG.

I think there is still noone who found the most OP build this Season.
Many people complain about the "OPness" of certain builds for some seasons now.
The last seasons showed that GGG allways had a new meta build each league.

Beginning with Lightning Arrow, followed by Low-Life Dual Spark Totem, Ignite-Discharge / DD, Spectral-Throw, Flameblast, Tornado Shot.

There is no real Meta breaking build this Season yet! Diversity has gone up by a lot!

At the start of the League many Players here promissed the final nail in meelee char's coffins and a death of Crit meta. Obviously not the case by viewing back now.

@ Map drops nerfed?

Stupid shit! Map drops allways sucked! After having 2 leagues of extreme Map drops through new game content (Strongboxes / Beyond-Packs) ppl now realize how those things impact the game in the grand scale.
Noone rolled hard maps anymore as it was better just to roll packsize to keep up the Mappool.

Getting to level 100 in a 2 week race is just stupid shit!

I predict a change in the general Map drop system. Harder maps won't only drop more Items, they might also soon increase the chance to get higher level drops.

For Example:

If you roll a Map with a Quantity of 40%+ drops will be raised by one Level.
If you roll 80%+ Quantity drops will be raised by 2 levels.
If you roll 120%+ Quantity drops will be increased by 3 levels.
Corruption of a Map adds another + 1

If you got a 158% Corrupted Dunes map, you are able to drop up to Level 72 Items in that instance.

Get the ppl to take risk to get rewards!

We will see what's up in the future!

Game On!

You really haven't played FB at all huh ? Unarmed attacks can't crit. So no FB-CRIT is possible .. at all.
Not to mention that i don't see any relation between the new helmet and crit .. whatsoever...

IGN: alba
please add

"abyssus and Disemboweling don't work with spectral throw anymore"

to the patch notes.

I wonder how many other things have been secretly adjusted.

Using Abyssus? Heard some people were having issues with that on ST.

No, but i have the Disembowelling nodes.
My God, I hope they haven't further nerfed this wonderful buildcombo even more (ST/crit).

These worked pre patch witch i confirmed myself by checking my crit chance and using respec orbs.
However i have not checked AFTER yesterdays patch.
This could very well be the reason for my lower tooltip damage after the patch.
The amount seem quite possible and even most likely, i'll check when i get home.

#@!?¤#D!!!

Disembowelling crit cluster nerf with spectral throw 1.3.1. CONFIRMED....

Didnt change a thing on my crit dagger ST char, lost tooltip DPS after patch.
Respeccing/take away these nodes didnt change my DPS at all so they DONT work anymore after 1.3.1 with ST as they did before patch.

Too bad, i needed better dps.
Well, now i have 5 more passive points to apply to make up for it if possible.
Only thing im dissapointed about is why they didnt tell in patch notes, now i spent long time figuring out why i lost DPS.

WANTED:
COMPLETE patch notes with ALL changes included.
Gotta ask, did you guys mix up Necrovigils spawnrate with P-link?
I've been doing a bunch of maps with a friend today. And we had P-link in pretty much every map but we only faced like 2 Necrovigils.

Other than that, awesome patch! Well needed BL changes aswell. :)
The "of Dousing" suffix makes you immune to ignite, while still removing burning.

This can dispel RF, but can i use RF while dousing flask is in effect?
