lightning wasn't OP..we sacrificed defense for the damage.

after playing in the live, i think that the game is alot harder, but more fun in many ways,

and makes it more interresting for good players, makes it allmost impossible for hardcore players,

but.... i can't say that i wil not try the tempest league after the rebalance....

good job GGG, i do think you over looked some major things,

like all ES builds, wich is useless now, compare to life ofc,

and the economy effect on maps after the new drop rate nerf,

but.... it still is the best MMORPG to play from my point of view....


low life build gone LOL plz learn the game, low life build also got gg buff with the new prism guardian, some unique got buffed like crazy like Hyrri's Ire , there is lot of buff like fortify, frenzy charge... troll like you should be ban.




IS the ball lightning nerf was already in the beta ?

Took me from November to last week to lvl up my masters , what a slog that was .
Now they are making it harder . Puts me off trying out the new leagues .

I have never had good RNG and usually by the time my build is getting somewhere the league ends , yeah I'm slow .

Also making it more expensive for higher mods at the masters as well . I cannot craft to begin with , I have 0 luck since starting this game 20 month ago , apart from 2 items , now it's going to be even harder for people like me . I don't get it .

I have 11 lvl 76 maps / 10 77 maps and 5 78 maps , thats my wealth of untouched maps and now they are dropping less . I really do not get it .

Oh wait , they do exclude me from mapping "To accommodate the growing skill and knowledge of Path of Exile's best players, content in the highest-tier maps has been made more challenging."and "We want it to be hard to maintain the top maps. They are content for elite players and their rarity reflects it."

Yet early on they say they want new players to get smoothly into this and want us to take on bosses in the maps . My crap RNG ensures that I can never take on bosses and have to do maps way below my level because I am sick of dying in softcore and playing the same level over and over again . The only time I ever take on bosses is when I have just levelled , then weeks later when I finally get from 87-88 I can try again .

We have added jewels but basically nerfed everything else so that when you finally get a jewel in your tree it goes someway to getting you back to what you were before all the nerfs . Seen it all before .

I think I may be moving on . I would rather chew off my own foot than lvl the masters again , now it will be harder , just lol .

I'm going to stop there , I guess you can tell my experience is kaput , but that's just me and how I feel , a personal thing . A thing that most of you will have no problem with .

I find it hard to believe there isn't more of a fuss about this change. Eternals were effectively the ONLY tool in the crafting system with which a serious crafter could fight back against the relentless RNG inherent to the crafting system.

I'm not sure if the removal of Eternal orbs is just a troll, or if it's something that's serious. If it's a troll, then that's a pretty fucking good troll. If it's actually real, then RIP the whole crafting system.

From now on, every exalt dropped on an item will be a YOLO ex. If it doesn't produce a useful item, scour and start from Transmute again because there's no way to undo your YOLO ex. Simply put, without Eternal orbs, there is just no point in even attempting to craft a perfect rare. Basically, this change means that you're literally better off to chaos spam an item than you are to use an Exalted orb.

The only scenario in which you would (maybe) use an Exalted orb would be if you managed to chaos spam a rare item with 5 perfect mods. Even then you'd probably be better off to master craft a mod than use an exalted orb and risk getting a shitty mod that you couldn't remove without scouring (hence the parenthetical maybe in the previous sentence, but then they are making master crafted mods more expensive, so is this where Exalts get used now?). It's difficult to overstate how big of a nerf this is to Exalted orbs. The only thing an Exalt has going for it in terms of value now is its rarity.

Eternals were the 'Selection' in "Natural Selection". Without Eternals, all we have is Natural. You're just waiting for a hurricane to blow through the junk yard and magically assemble a 747.
