Content Update 2.1.0 Patch Notes

This update is a load of horse SH*****T
I'm probably the only person here to complain...but I'm very worried about the nerf to AOE skills since I use a weird Lightning Tendrils/Max Block Scion build. It looks like the max from the tree will drop from 52% to 40%...the damage increase to LT will be nice...but that 12% loss, even with Carcass Jack and Inc AOE gem is going to really suck since getting range with LT is difficult.

So one step forward and one step back. GGG, please consider boosting the range on Lightning Tendrils. It's a very underused and often scoffed at spell...and it desperately needs some love, not a nerf to its range. I'd like to see more people use it....so far I've yet to see another Scion build in 2.0 that utilizes it...

Most of this looks great. Vanishing Dye will be awesome, looking forward to new skills and uniques, and both the spell damage and melee mana changes should be helpful.

The Incinerate nerf sounds pretty steep to me, and I'm disappointed to be losing one of my favorite 'still viable for soloing mid-70s maps even when barely supported' skills, but if it's still viable when linked to LMP, IIR, and IIQ with only Spell Echo for dps, then of course it's OP when it's actually well supported. Question is how much support it will need to be viable now.

The buff to Magma Orb is great, but could you guys maybe make it less RIDICULOUSLY LOUD? I seriously stopped using it and switched a character to a different skill because when all the other effects it shares a volume slider with were at the level I prefer, I couldn't stand listening to it.

I'll second that, I stopped using the skill because of exactly that.

So guess it wont be a vendor recipe but a map consumable thingie.

11.02.2013 - 11.02.2017: four year PoE anniversary!
theres little issues where we all have our own takes etc, but I think this is probably the best set of mechanic updates to the game for about a year or more. Ive got things where I dont like this one little change and was hoping for this other change that isnt there but theres so many good changes here that for every issue theres like 20 things that are so great for poe.

Im super hyped for the ascendancy, when all these changes come together with the sub classes next year I think the game will be more exciting again than its been since the original open beta.
I expected to read frustration over Incinerate, but I didn't expect to see so many entitled players "quitting" over the absolute most broken spell in the game being nerfed. As far as cost to effect ratio, nothing beats it. It clears Uber with ease on a budget compared to the other contenders (Mjölner/Shavs/Voll's/Romira's low life discharger comes to mind, which will run you at least 50 exalts in standard) and trivializes content.

GGG recognized that it's broken, and sent everyone a not-so-subtle message that they don't want you playing it anymore.

At least the meta was jiggled around a bit, though massive amounts of Blade Vortex builds are incoming. That'll probably need the Incinerate treatment in a few months.
What's with the double nerf to Sweep?

This is my favorite skill/build in the game after Sweep sucking for like 80% of PoE's lifetime.

Is Sweep now stationary Cyclone?

Don't do this to me. I want to feel good when I donate...not feel like I'm tasting sour grapes.
