Brutal disrespect for standard players again. You could nerf things without destroying months and years of grinding your game. And to blame it on a wording or a misconception by some players? It has nothing to do with pixels on a screen. It is just disrespect. |

"need clarification, if I die half way during the mission(solo), will the timer pause temporary and only resume when I zone back in and loose the grace period? |

" Second that. __Caliber_EX

" Get your eyes checked. Ascendancy brings 10x more power creep than nerfs. The sub-classes alone will make your character stronger than these nerfed items people are crying about. Those were broken items anyway. Won't miss. |
|
" This change to crit multi feels like a swift kick in the nuts to standard players who worked their asses off for their gear. You're not getting one more penny from me. It'll take quite a bit on your part to convince me to continue supporting this game monetarily. Just a lowly standard player. May RNGesus be with you.

" No he didn't, he said the class system was good but the labyrinth wasn't that fun and it isn't enough to make him come back. This is coming from a guy who spent 18 hours a day on the game for a year when it first came out, I'm stunned he hasn't burned out on Hearthstone that hard. I'm also stunned at everybody over exaggerating Kripp's less-than-positive response |

guys chill on the divine orb situation. Things are going legacy, when its a good legacy you get to keep an amazing op version and gain money. When its a bad legacy you just need to divine it once to get a current version or get one of the new ones. sometimes you win a bit, sometimes you lose a bit, dont act like you dont have a Taste Of Hate and a Vinktars in your stash on standard that just became way more valuable than they were before these patch notes. In the long run players who grind and find items benefit from the legacy process, the value increases are far more abundant and net way more profit than a divine orb.
" nah man theyre fine, from what I can tell the mods on yellow items are simply having their woridng changed and not their values, so you dont need to divine or bless them unless they were the specifically mentioned bases like Rapiers. " Ill give you 68ex along with every chaos orb in my stash for the Wrath Fang :D " well you have a current binos, it seemed unclear from the notes if this change was simply behind the scenes to all binos or if you now have a legacy binos that still works the old way and is worth 10x more than it was yesterday. Fingers crossed mate. " from what I understand theyre fine. The wording will change from %increased to +%, that is all. The values are not changing so you wouldnt have needed to divine them, so as far as I an aware youre all good man no need to worry. " well, its not really a wording change, its a mechanical change that nerfs crit multi by 33% and also makes it work the way it works in just about every other game where you see 50% crit multi on an item, you equip it and you get 50% crit multi, rather than what we have now where you equip it and get 75% crit multi. When he says the values are staying the same, he means if you had 30% increased crit multi on an item it will now be 30% additional crit multi, which results in you getting 1/3 less final crit multiplayer from the stat. Hes then saying in some cases they have gone in and changed the value of the stat, so where it was 30% increased it will now gives 45% additional, which will result in the same damage before and after the change. The change is only cosmetic when they go in and up the value of the % given. Basically multi took a 33% nerf, except in the cases where they go in and change the value to be higher. They cant change the values on items, so the unique items that are having their values increased so that they escape the 33% nerf need divined. Presumably every crit multi stat on a rare item will not be changing, will not need divined and will be 33% less effective. I may be wrong on the above, Im sure someone like Mark will jump in and set us all straight if we start getting this all wrong so lets see. |
