Path of Exile 2.4.0: Atlas of Worlds Patch Notes

@PathOfShalti

Every1 is different. You happy in leagues where you never reach end game content. I'm happy in standard where I have long term goals and reaching end game. Where I can stand up to T15 core boss without death. You will never able to to in league. Every1 has different priorities.
I don't mid if people play leagues. That's their choice. What I mind is when those people laughing on standard players and consider them as a junk.

I agree nerf happens for sure. I played lot of games. I'm 42 years old so playing games on computer for 27 years. BUT I didn't play the game(yet) where HUGE nerfs are coming every couple months. It's totally unprofessional in every aspect.

I totally disagree. I mean, yes, it would have been better if everything was perfectly balanced from the start but there's a big difference between a test environment and a public release (particularly one to as large, clever, and dedicated as the POE player base). It is very reasonable for some small adjustments to be made every few months, and you are ignoring the vast reems of content that worked so well (Prophecy is coming into standard almost entirely intact!).

You might disagree with their decisions, but to call it unprofessional is not fair. Though I am sad my characters are getting hard hit by some of these changes (Mjolner/discharge and coc in particular), the regular updates for balance are an example of professionalism, not the lack thereof.

Sure I agree. But if this mistake happens it should be fixed ASAP not after 3 years or more. When people invest time and lot of money around this mistake caused by dev.

Sure, 3 years is a long time to fix an unintended issue. But maybe it was something that had insignificant impact for most of that time and only when certain updates came into play that this became a big enough issue worth the effort. Again I understand you're frustration, but don't take things for granted because eventually you'll be disappointed.

I'm was hearing about mjolner OP for loooong time. I just couldn't afford it. So this problem was here loooong time ago. And certain update did it even worse. But dev. knew that mjolner is OP and did nothing.

Oh god damn it! Vacuum Farmer nerfed? What was so OP in it? Fucking Zero dmg build JUST FOR FUN and stress test OF MY OWN computer? Or what? Jesus!! And it is not nerfed it just destroyed like CoC or Mjolnir etc. DEVS WHAT ARE U DOING? EXILE incoming devs from D3 (they killed their game and now they killing yours)

U killing fun in the game!

......FFS 3 builds I wanted to try in next league just destroyed. Fucking awesome!
And by the way why dont u Devs return to all players on std about 100ex of compensation for crushing in 1 move all that ppl tryed to create in years spending tones of time in your game trying to obtain fucking expensive gear which now is useless shit?

I have to laugh at these standard clowns who cant play their 10000000ex builds now.
I feed on your tears and they are delicious.
I'm laughing on idiots who starting over and over every couple months. In my eyes only idiots doing same over and over with no progress.

So, you literally calling yourself an idiot? Because, from what I read in this thread, they "destroyed all of your builds". So, this means, that you did the same thing over and over - you based "your new OP totally not copied" build on the most OP and most expensive item/skill (guess why they are so expensive? Maybe because they were OP?)

Great advice for you: If you will make next build after your "great Mjoln Jugger" is broken, consider making build w/o any legacy or other broken item/skill that will, for sure, be nerfed in future.
(If you don't know how to recognize those items/build: they are expensive)

You are talking about small adjustments which I agree with you. BUT I'm talking about HUGE!!! nerfs killing game mechanics and skills at all. Those are NOT small adjustments.

I understand where Kastmar is coming from, and I wouldn't call it that myself. But yeah, the hard nerf was a little unprofessional, or at least inconsiderate of players. I would have nerfed it in stages and presented it to players in a less take-it-or-leave it fashion.

Ultimately, you are right, it's a balancing act, and every developer is going to make mistakes and introduce something they didn't forsee as being unbalanced. It happens. Some of us might grumble a bit, but all of us still move on and enjoy the game.
