im with you man..........mjolner is practically unplayable at higher tiers now
coc was nerfed in the begining from 50℅ to 30℅ and it didnt need b nerfed into the earth and buit on...its relax kill everything build its not like 80℅ of players are doin coc for there main build in new leagues..no everyone tries new shit every league, then has a main 1 shot build whether its coc discharge or 'caustic' arrow or w/e .. point is the multi nerfs are insane

remember its just a game u dont have to ruin the fun of ppl, we know its your game your vision and u guys can do whatever you want, but by doing something like this you just hurt your fan base and will lose player over time.

some ppl that dont care about nerf and are laughing about ppl that play on standard, try to understand that not every1 have 16-18 years old and can play 15h a day the game, so when things like heavy nerfs hit ppl that invested time on their characters its normal that u will see they sad.

This is the first and probally the only time ill ever post on this forum, thats just my 2 cents.

I played both standard and league. I have managed to get some achievements on previous league but most of my time is on standard cuz I have a life too.

I have both CoC and Moj toon and these nerf hit me hard.
Although. I do agree that these builds need to tone down a bit but look like GG hit them too hard.

Also, RIP Explosive arrow ,LA - Single target. Without frostwall stack and proper buff from GG , This skill is trash now. Freaking TRASH.

And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.

My thoughts exactly.
i play 5 builds. a CoC, a RF mjolner, a frost wall kinetic blaster, a spark inquisitor and a SRS witch.

CoC may survive IF the cooldown is counted per spell and not per trigger. Overall still seems to have taken a huge hit.


RF mjolner just got destroyed. You still need to socket in an arc or something to guarentee max charges for discharge, so the sequential casting by itself makes this a huge nerf. This means half as many discharges and half as many arcs in the same time frame. HALF the dps. On top of that, it randomely deals 35% less damage if you trigger it. Really you should swap that around and give it more if you dont (or buff numbers to compensate). On top of THAT you have limiting cooldowns of currently unspecified amount. Hopefully this is going to be a very small number. This was my main build, the one i had invested the most time and effort into. I am not even sure if its gonna work anymore. The sequential change has violated the sprit of mjolner builds. You have simply said "you are no longer allowed to do what this item was supposed to do" I cannot be more disapointed.

my kinetic blaster can still function vs groups but really this came out of the blue. Frost wall was used to augment the damage of on hit procs (lightning arrow, kinetic blast, etc) when you didnt have enough targets to properly proc it against. This was a Seriously Cool interaction. I thought it was an amazing thing to include. and yes, people probably abused it too hard. it was possible to get WAY too many procs off. SO by all means, limit it. make it so a single wall can only result in 4 procs before it ceases to help (or something). But removing the mechanic entirely just feels awful.


I play this game because it allows me so many options towards sucess. There is a set of rules, and it is my challenge to find a way to bend around them to pump the most i can get out of the system. Bypassing cast speed was my favorite mechanic in the game, and now you have basically tried to remove it. This is a persistent issue with the balance team at yur company. when a mechanic gets out of line, hit it with a nerfbat, bring it into line. I would happily take the 35% less discharge damage if it promotes the health of this wonderful game. but that is not what you do. when something is out of line, your default response is to haul the GIGANERFER 3000 out of the closet and just bash it into oblivion. You did it to incinerate. now youve done it to mjolner. and you dont havee to do it, i have seen you do things right. Your changes to SRS a while back successfully maintained the skills identity while bringing it more into line with other skills. you adjusted and reworked the skill just enough to achieve the desired result. Doing simultaneous compounding nerfs in the same patch feels unnecessarily targeted, and can have such a profound impact on the mechanic that it just struggles to exist (see:incinerate). Slow it down. IF the mechanic is troublesome, aim to reduce one aspect of its functionality, bring it into line. And evaluate whether it achieved its goal. I am hoping this will still be workable, but if it isnt, PLEASE RESPOND AND REEVALUATE. when you nerfed incinerate, you basically compounded nerfs on until it was almost unusable, then never went back and looked to make sure it was in decent shape.


I was truly looking forward to this expansion. I was preparing and planning for weeks. I even bought a supporter pack (with my extremely limited funds) because i believed in this company. and now i feel betrayed. I am not excited, i am not hopeful, i wish i could have my money back because i have lost faith in the decisions of this company.

Yay! ANY melee build with voidheart becomes the new meta! Considering there are a total of 3 nodes spread across the passive tree that combined give a 21% chance to cause bleeding, 30-50% will still be WAY OP...even WITHOUT the 20-40% chance to cause poison as well. It would have been better to just make more items with bleeding. At least then people would still be limited in weapons they could use to cause bleeding, so they could not just use their crazy two-hander with 650 base phys damage into an OP DOT machine. We will see what happens, but I think you are going to see a run-away-train of people making OP builds with this ring. Buy them if you find em cheap, they won't be cheap for long.

Wasn't able to play melee this league. I was but was told they were going to address melee next league - so I figured I would wait.


Seeing EQ builds etc etc doing decent damage and actually keeping up with some ranged classes - I thought 'sweet' finally a decent build and we'll see patch notes to see what else gets buffed melee style.

Buffs are minor and non existant.




To me this new league is just "So we looked @ popular builds on the forums and just nerfed them into the ground for all around better game play"


We buffed skill dmg on skills nobody uses, and nobody will either. 50% damage bonus of garbage is still garbage.


EQ effect on sale? Sweet.
EQ gets nerfed days after? Super sweet.

Not a cash cow sale or anything.

Thanks for these graphical updates I hope I don't lag out 99% on any rain map. Because you know - I cant turn it off for immersive game play.


Fix your server side DC on Lab runs? I mean, as much as I love getting half way or almost all the way done with lab only to DC in loading screen, or opening a chest, or doing nothing and game just closes only to have to restart the entire thing all over again is super fun.

because you've played the new content right?

Everyone complaining about the meta being nerfed seems to forget that's what happenes every 3 months or so in this game XD. learn the new meta or complain that you aren't good enough to play it. Until then just stick with speculation. It's much more fun than complaining and giving up
