Is a SSD mandatory?

So it means this should be a standard, because you used computers for 25+ years now. What.
Any professional who needs access to big files FAST will tell you that SSD is mandatory. Nobody has time to wait, especially when it doesn't cost you much more.

#1. Where did I say HDD should be standard because it's been in use for 25 years+? No where. I said it's still perfectly acceptable UNLESS you're a hardware enthusiast with cash to burn.

#2 For the IT of billion dollar businesses I work with....no. Not a one of them says this. Their servers which run for 20 client locations across the US.....standard HDD. Their machines, HDD. FAST is subjective, like I said. One man's FAST is another man's "OMG I HAD TO WAIT 2 SECONDS TO OPEN AN EXCEL SPREADSHEET, KRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!111111111"

I get it. You like the bleeding edge, you think everyone should be there and you denigrate people that aren't. But since this thread is asking very specifically if it's MANDATORY, then answer was and is still NO.

That said....PoE is the only game I play where disk access actually seems to matter in the larger scheme of things. Thanks to that GGG tech.
