Ya idk whats going on lately, in about the last week on abyss ive made more money then I have the last 3 months of standard, its crazy. The other day I dropped a watcher's eye with the ES regen and attack damage leech that sold for 8ex, today turned in div cards and got a ventors Gamble that sold for 4ex, that jewel I linked to you I got for 100 chaos, ONE HUNDRED CHAOS, they start at like 7ex but I was just lucky and the guy didnt know the real value.

I thought going into league play id have to be gimp starting over but im basically in equal to better gear then my standard/cheat league player already.

etc, its stupid, had i known it was going to rain unicorns in Abyss I wouldnt have waited till January to start it.

Btw ridiculuosly fun build, and tanky, ive tried maxing out on +max rez, planning on getting a watcher eye with phys taken as 2 purities to get even more tankiness when that jewel pops on sale.

Just wish i didnt die to this hiting air issue.

Looks like either accuracy or range problem. Try both at once: a) add additional accuracy gem to your cyclone setup and b) make your cyclone 20% quality for increased AoE. Hope that helps. If not than its 100% lag.


@JCOH35 Despite Im in poe since open beta I was plaing "standard only" up till Breach release. I tried Breach mostly because I really liked HoWa builds and those claws on standard were 10x the price. Than after I succesfully made a HoWa build in Breach I realise a) buying and selling stuff on standard is pain in the ass vs temp league b) It was fun doing everythin from scratch and didnt turned out to be as hard as I initialy tough c) I have acces to the most recent content that is a bit "biased" in terms of balance and I dont have to wait untill it will eventually appear in standard but in its inferior form d) however playing over and over those same acts just to lvl new character is pain in the ass "must-have" process.

Now after release of Fall of Oriath the later is not that of an issue any more.

Currently I use standard just to test some builds ideas in-game. Standard, especially in terms of trading (but not only) feels dead vs temp league. Something like open bn vs closed bn in Diablo 2 if u played that game. Eventually only closed bn with ladders was the thing that lasted like forever.

Im copy youre STD build for this league. Im on low lvl gems,lame ring,no resist yet and lvl70+ onley. PLS dont reset your STD,Im following skill tree as well)

Just wanted to thank you for this build. I have tried two other discharge builds in previous leagues and they all felt clunky and inconsistent.

My friends laughed when I told them I was going to start another one after my league starter was set this league. They are not laughing anymore.

Just shredding everything like a knife through butter.

Build feels great. None of the previous "charge" building issues.

Quick question what Zana map mod is needed for scolds to drop? Bloodlines? Or at the mercy of cards? I’m on Xbox so league specifics are tougher to buy normally.

P.S. For folks that are on the Xbox one who are in trade board hell for this build (finding rings and jewels on Xbox is an hours long exercise in futility) i decided to path through the diamond skin nodes near the start of the tree. It costs two more skill points but makes it a lot easier to balance resists for wise oak if you use meingords girdle and saves you some time shopping for perfect rings and jewels.

Ya np, Rico has done all the work. All I did differently was sacrifice a lil dps here and there for more survivability, mainly b/c as a newer PoE player idk the mechanics on many of the endgame fights and as an older gamer (38) but at a rate of 10+ hrs a day since the age of 17 I already have carpal tunnel pretty badly in my left wrist my twitch reflexes/reaction times are subpar.

In abyss I am in love with 2 new changes from standard, these;

and my new double phys dmg reduction watcher's eye.

Getting like 150 life, 650 armor, 60 strength and your cold damage to attacks on your belt is just fkng insane. Sure 5 discharges per sec at 4.5 aps with cooldown reduction is great but omg, ill take this godmode instead.

Nice being able to do deathless Shapers, facetanking a tele slam and living or being able to watch travellers on netflix while you hold down cyclone on red tier Elder lol.

Its a Path of Building build sharing link. PoB is a third party application, basically a tool for build designing for poe with all those fancy numbers calculated for you. Google it.

Hey Pros,

First and foremost thanks for being responsive throughout this thread and helping others.

Like so many others before me, I need some help. I can do maps/bosses up to T13ish, but often have crazy damage spikes that I can't seem to overcome and end up dying quite a bit (non ele reflect maps)

I'm thinking one of my primary issues is that I over leveled CWDT (just replaced with a level 8 version) and it's connected gems. Could you kindly straighten me out (even if it is ...play correctly)? I'll gladly provide any other info I've left out of this post. My gear is below. Thanks in advance!
