When manually casting the Immortal Call + Arcane Surge buff, is there a particular "sweet spot" for the most efficient "bang for your buck" for the gem levels to be? While my character is kinda underleveled, I can just barely eek out enough mana to cast Immortal Call on its own.

" Its not "manditory" its just a helpful extra boost to damage. Personally I havent used the switch at all on abyss and never really got around to using it on standard, i also never setup or ran righteous fire and I have easily cleared all the content, can do deathless shapers and facetank 3 of the 4 guardians and red tier elder guardians ignoring all mechanics. The only thing in the game that kills me is the Phoenix Guardian but thats just b/c hes broken. When you can though try to farm enough for a lv4 enlighten, its pretty easy to get $ on abyss. People pay like 20 or more chaos for master prophecies like a gracious master etc, offerings to the goddess and yellow/red sextants all sell instantly for 5-6chaos, maps in general sell for insane amounts etc. You can click on my profile and view my abyss character of this build, I just started that guy this month and you can see im in about 30-40ex worth of toys, all hand farmed. Its crazy what some people sell items for on abyss, just got a 35% spell damage ring with a tier 2 life roll for 20chaos,
thats a good place holder while i hunt down one with tier 1 life and stat, gave up on crafting shaped rings. I blew over 10exa on standard without ever getting 31-35 sp dmg plus any tier 1 life or stat roll, the amount of shaped variables ontop of the basic ring variables make it nearly impossible. *dear god.......why does this league ever have to end, just pulled these in an aby depth, people already offering 5ex for them b/c the stupid challenge; Last edited by JCOH35 on Jan 17, 2018, 11:40:33 PM

Just to clarify: elemental dmg with attacks dont apply to spells. This will only increase cold dmg with cyclone in our case. Kinda waste of affix slot.

Fnally got around to upgrading to 6L with that ID $, finishing my gems, upgrading to 21s across the board, feels nice to having culling strike back, aside from the free 10% life on bosses its 10% more attack speed to my cyclone, 11% really b/c I got another 1% off 21 Faster Attacks. | |
Im currently using this build and using Kaoms way instead of a rare ring. I get my cold for attacks from an abyss jewel.

Also curious if lowering attack speed to 2.5 aps would make cyclone line up with discharge internal cd. making you have 4 a sec without ats investment. I tried this route and went with the cannot be stunned 4th ascendancy
