In last weeks , there have been many people coming into game, openly advocating and speaking about use of d2JSP.
Asking about prices in orbs vs forum-gold etc.. I have short list here of known users which I will post and update as I become aware of more. This is here for anyone who wishes to try and maintain the in-game economy as it is, which the developers have been trying to regulate/balance via drop-rates. -Canis -Servi -Voice -Ooelhunden -High_tem -Crithappens -_faerwin -sanctum In hopes that POE remain free from cheats, please try not to trade with these people. On behalf of the D2JSP community I would like to apologize to anyone who believes that the community is a community of people who "cheat." We are simply a community that is trying to help push Path of Exile in it's inevitable success.
I am aware that D2JSP was once a forum that pushed the use of a specific automated program, however this part of D2JSP has long deceased (I have been an active member since 2004). I hope before judging our community, you will all take time to visit the forums, and just see for yourselves the broad horizon of games (a lot which you've probably never heard of) we support and play. You cannot know it is bad or good as you never try it or you hate it beaucse they gave you Locked/Scammer tag for theft or banned your account for creating multi accounts/violating rules.
If not d2jsp I'll never heard of game called Path of Exile same as many my friend or ppl that I know, the list of jspers is longer and from day to day I see/recive more questions when open beta, how to get into closed beta, I talk with my RL friend's they also would like to try out PoE, so I can say D2jsp it is really nice advertising for PoE Regarding Cheats, it is NOT ALLOWED to talk about them on d2jsp. You may recive warn for it and more warns may result of banning your account, without possibility to back on the site. Octantis |

I refer to cheats in the sense that there is use of something not within the POE game itself(forumgold), used to purchase ingame items.

personally, i dont think that those people are "cheats", or are trying to harm the game in any way(or using bots/w/e
tools to gain any kind of advantage over others). still i will look at this list of yours and try to avoid those using forum-gold. why? first, it is possible (and is quite usual) for people to mix up a game with real life, resulting in real solid currency(or at least "prices" "gifts"/ name it as you like) being payed for ingame stuff like equipment, orbs up to fully leveled characters(?!). i dont want that. second point is, that the influx of outside "money"(and even if it is NOT real) into a system, that is supposed to work on its own, will eventually break, or at least influence it in certain ways. the people creating this game are working hard and sit together every day, thinking about things like the economic system in the game. now another economic system from outside comes and tries to take over the unfinished (it is still a BETA!!!) ecology. this will most certainly influence the normal process, devs have to make up sth new to counter this new influence, so they cannot make it the way they like. they want it to be free to play, but i am certain that the use of forumgold is contrary to that idea: people will eventually pay rather real money in order to get an advantage over others, and those will be forced to do the same. that is what pay2win is about!! maybe im to sincere about that, but why not see what they have in mind for us/ the game becomes in the end??? and personally: the result will be lvl 60+ players who dont know shit about game mechanics and ask stupid questions all day long. had they played the game instead and not wasted their lifetime/money they might have learned things themselves, resulting in them playing better and on and on... ingame, i like to answer questions, but when i trade with a highlevelplayer(still ingame) and he/she doesnt know the value of a chaos orb.... well it feels wrong. sorry for typos and the general rabbeling but i had to say this |

A secondary market exists and is necessary for every other MMO out there, trying to prevent it in PoE will always be like holding your hands up in front of a waterfall to stop it from getting wet. Your only real options are to play an unpopular game or to design the game in such a way that goldfarming is acceptable. (Honestly, if the population is large enough that goldbuying becomes a problem, it's a _good_ problem to have.)
Full disclosure: I don't buy gold but I also don't feel like anyone should be vilifying goldfarming/goldbuying without reason. |

About paying real money to get advatange over someone oh well I guess you didn't heard that there will be possiblity to buy PoE Items for Real money on THIS site? about your personally opinion: Look on #1 ( Not allowed to selling/buying Accounts/Names etc ) Octantis. " Hi, my character Servi is on this list. Sure I use D2JSP to trade items for forum gold and then use that gold to buy more items. For me its a community to trade basically. I don't like being accused of anything I didn't commit, even cheating in a video game. If you don't want to use the D2JSP community to trade items then don't, but don't call someone a cheater for trading items on that site. Besides, if it was really a problem to be using D2JSP you wouldn't need to tell anyone. Site has been around for years and you're the first person I have ever heard say that it is a site for cheaters. Think about it for a second, is it "cheating" to go to a bank and cash a check? No. So when I sell an item on D2JSP and am given forum gold, then how have I cheated? Nothing in the game has been broken. Economy isn't ruined. What negative affect on the game did this action have? Please enlighten me (and before you try to say that I don't make sense... A check for all intense and purposes is a bank note created from the bank that issued it. Its okay for me to use a bank for real money, why not virtual items as well) For those who don't know what D2JSP is, then check out D2jsp.org and see what it's all about.
