Anyways, do u use solar guards also for bosses? like guardians or have alternative gear for that?
SG's melt Uber Atziri and Shaper really quickly, comparable to VG's when geared properly. Bosses with any real movement (IE Hydra) will die even faster than VG's since the totems are so slow with tracking.
Give it a shot if you are curious with the proper gems, most people that switch back and forth find it slower or faster because they are either not swapping gems properly or gems for the alternate spec are low quality.
sounds reasonable, but, I hate to swap gems in and out constantly, especially on ur case when farming T15+ maps every single runs, its very easy to screwed up something like sold ur gems, misplace gems or unequip armor and lost spectres. I would gladly lose 20% clear speed for the QoL convenience of not swapping gems for every maps. That's why I am running FG for clearning and TV for hard targets, never to worry about what gems to swap on next fight.

The only gem I ever swap for hard content is GMP for Slower Projectile, literally 1 gem to swap and even then it's optional, I've done Shaper just leaving GMP in.
I keep a full set of level 21 or 23 quality gems in my stash for hard content, it's been over a week since I've bothered to use them.
I never played a summoner build but this looks interesting!
Two noob questions if I may::
- how well does this build compare against other popular speed mapping builds like EK nova or wanders? What changes would you make to this build to improve this aspect?
- what is the most challenging part of learning this build? Is it positioning against bosses? If so is there any guidance on that?
- can this build work as a speed Uber lab farmer?

This isn't as fast as the popular speed mapping builds. Your speed with this is limited to your spectres AI more than your movement skill. I've run maps with guildies running fast Wanders, and they have to wait for me.
If you want to max your speed, I'd run Solar Guards, Flesh Offering, frenzy charges, speed flasks, and shield charge. I suspect you'll end up in a position where your movement speed can outstrip the AI's ability to clear mobs.
Positioning is the challenge - but not as much as, say, a ranged character. No, you probably can't facetank Shaper's beam, for instance. However, once you know all the big, slow, hits from the tough bosses, you can evade those, and everything else you can generally straight up tank.
This can certainly work as a farmer, however, it's not the best setup. It's probably the cheapest, though. :)

If you're going to try SGs, remember to run the right jewels, and swap your Animate Guardian gear for a setup that supports SGs. Dying Breath / Leer Cast / Victario's Flight / Zahn's Cassock / Rare gloves with health and resists.
Don't worry about the additional curse anvil. Just pick up a regular anvil for the life / mana gain on block. For the curse setup run lightning ball / GMP / CoH / Elemental Weakness or Projectile Weakness.

word ill try out the anvil. i have an unending hunger gem and the rest are maxlife/dex/minion cast speed. those are them right? im sure theres better but im poor (:
