An interesting development for sure. Wonder what the Chinese's end goal is. Seems they have their fingers in everything as of late.

Not sure what to think about this.
I do not know Tencent and what they have done.
But if they invest in a company, they want profit.
So, with that cash coming in, and a lot of players expecting to pay less, I am not sure how you will make them happy.
HOpefully, I will be able to ask you during the next year ExileCon.

funny how people who spent xxxx$ are now raiging about GGG decision without even knowing what kind of changes it will bring. they said they already quit (sure they did, July 1st they will be back whinning how thay gotta play this game and what build they will do and how from time to time post how the new league is influenced by the new Tencent investment and tell us they will not play next expansion since its gonna be P2W)... LOGIC! is not there.

btw how is anything in PoE P2W? I understand MMO, multiplayer FPS like dota2/overwatch... but RPG where most people do SOLO instances? So lets say a random guy spends 1 000 dollars to get top mirrored gear (which btw he can buy now as well if he finds right people) and he kills shaper left and right within 0.1 sec. So? does it concern you? does it make your gameplay any different? Does he goes to your instance to steal drops, kill your mobs or, got save us, buy something from you with his dirty exalts? no...

if anyone can explain to me how POE can become P2W I will be very happy. I believe that 95% of those P2W cases you would not even know about and 5% would be boosting in global and forums how op they crappy builds are coz they got op items.

for me as long as I can play to game, enjoy the content I will be happy. If I actually like a support pack i will buy one no matter who gets the money. maybe we will get a reasonable prices on hats now which i feel are a bit overpriced (for my region).

Can you give me the list of games destroyed by Tencent?
I've seen Fortnite and LoL examples flying around, but neither seem to really be the case - if i understand correctly, if anything, recent business decisions in LoL made it easier for the f2p players to aqcuire new champions, thus reducing the pay to play component of the game.
