Just because you like to ninja, doesn't mean you should join a no-ninja game and STEAL other's drops.

Welcome to Wraeclast. Thanks for your stuff.

p.s. I never join no ninja games, after an two different experiences where the lead ninja was actually the game maker. Rather clever tactic, that.
I don't want to worry about the items on the floor while I'm in a fight!!!!!!!

You MIGHT be playing the wrong game then..idk for sure though.
The item is yours when it is in your bag.

A lot of the time good items drops you can't just run pick it up. You're still in a fight.

I KNOW!! Its great isnt it?!! Love the excitement of the risk/vs reward for loot. Its the reason FFA is so much fun! Its like a game within a game. FIGHT or LOOT?!!! Better decide fast cos theres a ninja right around the corner!
The item is yours when it is in your bag.

I appreciate everything about this patch except the taking away the names part. The names were a significant part in knowing what piece of loot would be alotted to a particular party member whenever grouping. Say you're running in a party, and an item drops, everyone is fighting and come back to see the item with no name? Who gets it? Especially when playing in a non ninja group. What if the person who it originally was intended for missed it? How does one know this item would be his/hers with no name on the item? If someone were to spot the name on the item while the timer was still in place, it would make a world of difference.

So please, I ask you to reconsider adding the names back to the timers.

This game is FFA. GGG is keeping with that style of gameplay, and has at the same time, given less skilled gamers, laggers, people who cant pay attention (w/e you want to call them) a LONGER chance to get loot. Case closed.

The item is yours when it is in your bag.

Ok, in capps so it gets attention.

IT'S REALLY BAD WITHOUT THE NAMETAGS ON THE ITEM
WE DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO'S DROP THAT IS WHEN WE'RE MAPPING!

Although the team members are all friends, but it's still really hard to decide which person should pick up the exalted orb on the ground,
everyone was too busy fighting mobs than watching what's dropping on the ground.

Don't need the countdown bar, but at least give it a name tag!

Also, after running a few hours on MAP, that 1 extra second didn't even matter,
try add something like 5 seconds next time, with a +50% to distance.

I was referring to when playing with a group of friends playing by a particular set of rules, i.e., allotted loot. I really don't care what other people do in their own parties, that's all fine by me. People can still do FFA with names on items...it just would be alot easier for those who prefer to play non FFA if the items had the name on them while the timer is up.

Some people want to know who the drop was for because they choose to play in a groop that wants to be fair towards one another

Why take that away from those people?

Names don't impact those players who don't want to respect them, but does impact the ones that do.

I don't have a preference, one way or the other. I would advocate, however, for the ability of the party leader to determine loot options, and have that option transparent to party members. I'm cognizant that the developers have a vision for their game, but I strongly believe that choice, and variety are essential "quality of life" measures for such a polarized topic.
