First - Get good
Second - I don't give a shiet about my spelling
Third - Just realized that PoE is a SinglePlayer game.
Forth - Investment in Baron build? What a joke! People killing uber elder with a shitty fortify 6L weapon and 5L Geofri's + 1c items while spinning like a retard around makes the end-game content bullshit.
Fifth - If you are just bad as hell and need a baron build to kill endgame content is not developers fault, is your single-handed condition.
Sixth as bonus track - Legion, 40% necromancers, Metamorph, 30% necromancer + 10% mana guardians.

3x 23+ str Efficient trainings cost more than a UE-ready pick-a-melee-skill Slayer build and here you are commenting about Baron build costs.

Lightning strike / Dual Strike / Frenzy, I doubt just that is enough to make UE ready with a slayer

hopefully you quit so GGG can concentrate on something important again,.... less of your kind will add more resources to actually something which is in need.

Raise Spectre

Raised Spectres are now level 31 at gem level 1, up to level 76 at gem level 20 (previously level 80 at gem level 20).

Raise Zombie

The number of maximum raised zombies you can have at gem level 20 is now 6 (from 7).
Zombie behaviour while idle and near the player is now less chaotic.

Summon Carrion Golem

Now causes your Carrion Golems to deal 5% more damage per non-Golem minion near them (from 8%), up to a maximum of 50% (from 80%).

Summon Skeletons

Damage dealt by minions at all gem levels has been lowered by approximately 40%. This change isn't visible on the gem as it is a property of the minion itself, and does not affect Skeleton Mages or any other non-basic Skeleton minions summoned by Vaal Summon Skeletons.
The number of maximum summoned skeletons you can have at gem level 20 is now 7 (from 8).

Summoners rely to 100% on gems and very rare gear to scale their damage up. By nerfing the gems, they become 100% gear dependant, which is a terrible design flaw.

Blight was the best league for summoners, after I saw the nerfs last league I tried and gave up, as it was not fun anymore and now playing a summoner again, would be a waste of time.

Guess I try Bane again, but overall the constant nerfs to summoners and witches are just killing casuals, while the nerds will keep killing shaper 20 hours after release with their screen clearing nonsense, that never sees a single nerf.
summoners werent even half as nerfed as they deserve. They should have made minion damage and life depend on gear more so they have to invest into builds just as much as melee has to.
GGG refuses to buff Melee and gives every surivability tool to Spell/Ranged/Minion Builds because they dont play the game or at least melee themself.

Fair statement.

So, at what point does it stop being hypocrisy?

Simple. When the speaker is proximate to the spoken to. Previous challenges always mean less than current ones in Path of Nerfxile: The Pawnshop Simulator.

Additionally, this is a game. No one has ethical standing to shit on anyone else's fun. Tryhards have no moral authority to scold casuals, period.

Especially since they NEVER scold the true permanent meta: Traders.
Too much censorship that you never even see. Totally removed posts and silenced accounts across all communities. https://www.youtube.com/@Innomen

But that's the problem isn't it? Right now outside Necro minions are just plain bad, at least before they were manageable on other classes.

Well, GGG knows that if they nerfed Necros to the ground, they will lose a large percentage of their playerbase, because people want to play what is fun!!! You take the fun away and people will leave... Had they Over-Nerfed Necros, I would have been gone!! Why?? Because all other builds suck!!

You need to have at least one strong build that people want to play....

Most of the guys which played necro the last leagues were D3 people which just wanted to braindead faceroll anything, which was possible without gear or anything else. Minions were far to OP, more like a cheat to deal easy with the game. That's not what GGG want it to be....

Me for myself would also say most other skills/builds suck to their bad balancing, at most the melee skills no one is using. Atm there are about 3 melee meta skills which are Molten strike, Blade Flurry and Cyclone..... you don't see anything else to get played really, maybe some double strike and for fun some flickers, but that's it. We got over 40 melee skills so far, which feel mostly not worth it in comparison to the mentioned 3.

Every league forever has had a braindead faceroll option. Minions are definitely the most braindead of all, but none of them were difficult.

People blew up endgame with mines, with totems, with cyclone, traps,

I've played minion builds as my go-to long before they were op, and they have definitely been freaking crazy recently, but if people are playing summoners just because they are the easy option and everything else is relatively hard enough that people don't want to play it in place of nerfed summoner, that is a failure of game mechanics from GGG's end. The reality is that people will still keep rotating between whatever is the best option of minions, totems, traps, mines or cyclone, because they naturally avoid the most egregiously bad design flaws of the game (that is; they aren't punished nearly as harshly for carrying out mechanics as anything else).

Molten strike was used because it had extreme survival while standing still (and it isn't used nearly as much anymore). Blade flurry is basically a ranged skill and quick to execute, and I wouldn't call it all that popular either anymore.

It is impossible to balance other skills against these archetypes because of the basic paradigm of the game. Unless they start altering the game mechanics, the incoming damage patterns, the majority of casual players will continue to trend toward the builds that allow them to avoid those mechanics the most easily, because it simply makes the game feel a lot easier and smoother to play.

Gear is important though! Without the minion wand, it´s game over. without Baron and 2000 Str. no zombie build. without spectre boots, no spectre army...
No golem gem, no golemancer.

Back in the days, you could still make a decent summoner without those items, now you depend to 100% on them and this is terrible for SSF. Either the items become accessable or the gems need to make up for them. Six links also don´t rain from the sky, you lose a lot of DPS without a six link.

And btw.

I facetanked the metamorphs with my melee char last league, it was so boring and easy, that I honestly questioned how it´s possible that this was possible.
Damage was low, but I never even came close to death. Summoner had damage, but was fragile, a fair trade off.
