Am i reading it wrong? It should end with a "and" logic condition for them to be all empty for the node to work, like X(e) and Y(e) and Z(e) = buff

In the description it sounds more like Not X or Not Y or Not Z = buff

This. Not to mention, could you IMAGINE how absurdly broken Facebreakers would be with the massive flat phys + 800% phys damage if you could use gloves with it? I'm not doing the math, but it might be possible to hit BILLIONS of shaper DPS that way. Shapers per frame might become a thing.

Thank god they had the foresight to make it so all 3 slots have to be empty :D

Tbh, i was already dreaming about all that dps

Glove, Amulet and Shield Fossil-exclusive modifiers can no longer be obtained in any form. Existing items will be unchanged.

Let me guess... no more + 1 to maximum numbers of Zombies from Fossil-crafting?
Overwhelmed by Path of Exile? You might want to have a look at Wrecker_of_Days' beginner-friendly guides. One-click-wonders that do not require any specific items to conquer the campaign and the Atlas: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2606288/page/1
The day before this patch notes I read the cluster jewels details, did anyone realized that you can play now a real monk?

Beside that, yes GGG should have packaged this better, if you just read the notes you basically have each line a nerf and this feels just negative.

I hope that finding cluster jewels is not as hard and that the league mechanic itself is fun, at least I never played a Wander so I guess I'll try that.

This league is going to be a hard skip for me unfortunately. It is quite obvious that GGG is absolutely out of touch with the player base.

Was the economy so distressed that they absolutely needed the laundry list of nerfs? I don't get why if people are having fun playing, playing so many hours in the game, that they want to stop people from doing that?

Calling items power level "unethical" but letting them stay that way for years, then all of the sudden "OMG NO THIS IS UNETHICAL HOW DID WE MISS THIS FOR YEARS?"

How about you take items that are worth 20ex+ and nerf them into absolute oblivion if you are talking about items being unethical? Balance THOSE items, they are not 20ex+ because they are balanced. I mean, HELLO? Why should only the absolute 100% no lifers be the one who get to utilize the most absolutely broken op UNBALANCED items?

I think it is hilarious how people in this thread laugh at one class getting nerfed into oblivion, no one forces these people to play those builds, they can play anything they like, you don't like that play style? Don't play it. Pretty simple there. I just don't get why GGG wants to forcibly turn players away.

The ONLY reason Metamorph saw any kind of player retention was because of the new atlas, well, the new atlas has been played, and now that retention will NOT be happening this league (guaranteed a flashback event for sure).

I know an extremely busted build for this league (fairly certain everyone else knows what that is) everyone will play it, items will be outrageously expensive, 30%+ of builds will use it, and next league you will nerf it into oblivion. MEANWHILE, it is unbalanced now, and it was not even remotely touched in these patch notes, but somehow, next league you will say how it is unethical. That is how out of touch GGG is.

Have a fun league! I am out!

We are missing u already :(

No we will not. I don't even know what to say to all this. It is obvious YOU are out of touch with GGG. If you listen to their reasoning for nerfing this or that you would understand why they do what they do. GGG target nerfs things to change the meta on purpose. If 30% of the player base changes to a new skill. GGG reached their goal. Most skills out there are viable in many different ways. Generally the Nerfed skills still make great builds. As well as being cheap cause no one plays them. Being a regular player of summons. I still think they are in a good place.

If you really thought some of the builds this league weren't going to see nerfs I'm speechless. They needed nerfs.

You could just read the patch notes in their entirety and find out.
Insert; everything is fine but house is burning down meme. That dog is GGG right there. At least I won't be there when the house collapses.
So are map drops nerfed?
People should really stop with the argument that nerfs are bad because an op build doesn't affect/hurt anybody else so why hurt build.

Even if you 100% ignore the trading/currency aspect of it, the real reason things like summoners need nerfing when they get too OP is that OP builds 100% DO affect all other builders. Why? Because if something like summoners staying OP is left in the game, the developers are left with only 1 other choice... to buff all the content to make it so the summoners can't steamroll everything, which would make the content too hard for most other builds.

This is why things get nerfed and buffed, regardless of whether or not if affects you personally. If 25% of the league uses a specific build, it's likely because it's OP so the devs did the right thing in nerfing it so that the rest of the content doesn't have to be buffed against it, thus completely killing the ability to use other builds.

TLDR, nerfing OP builds does 100% impact non op builds by letting the developers balance the content evenly for all builds, vs having it only be viable for a select few. So please stop with the "why does my build being OP hurt your build in any way?" argument, because having OP builds does in fact hurt all builds.
Hell yes! We’re right on the path to playing diablo 3 here as well, I am actually so excited for poe to remove all the things that make it unique in the Arpg genre. I as a player who cannot stand other people having fun love these kind of patch notes. Some people were saying silly things like “they have so much room now with the new atlas to buff so many ascendancies items and skills” but me I hate the idea of people eventually succeeding in their gameplay goals so I personally enjoy reading these long lists of fun removal. Look I come back every league to suffer in t10 maps before I quit the league like every other pog posted on these patch notes. It’s actually really fun watching streamers lose their actual sanity in hardcore dying to the same mechanics over and over. I’m glad you guys at ggg stay on reddit listening to the fun police and use empyrean and cutedog as a metric for the rest of our gameplay. Seriously though last league felt so fucking hopeless that I finally broke down and built a shapers touch baron build after hundreds of hours of death and failure on a fun build that I tried my absolute hardest to make work, I just don’t think that’s very rewarding gameplay and I cannot deal with much more of it. When I try to do what you guys have planned for me I fail and when I do something that becomes meta you destroy it. When will it be acceptable to leave something boring and strong In the game for people who might need it via disability or inability and instead make other more involved and skill requiring playstyles More rewarding, this is starting to feel very diablo 3 and that game already exists. Keep trying new things because the patch notes have been the exact same the entire time I’ve been with poe. Make something work.
You can really tell how much all of these people in support of nerfs actually play the game based off their challenge completion. It’s weird the people who play the least support these bad changes the most...
