0.9.9 Patch Notes
This is the worst patch ever. I now need to restart my character again that is lvl 7? Blahhh. And, what the hack, no pokemons in this patch? Buuuu.
Joking aside, I CANT WAIT TO PLAY THIS. Crap, and I planned to not play PoE until open beta. |

You guys can very easily make 4 linked items with a few fusings mostly. No build in this game is useless without 5 or 6 linked items, or if it is, then you are doing something wrong. Best thing would be to completely remove the 5 or 6 link possibilty from the game and everyone will be calm about the fusing system. No skill needs more than 3 supports to be effective, most of them needs less than 3. The game has to be a bit of a challenge even after level 70, and not allow to 1 hit everything with some ridicoulusly OP build and/or equipment. So I am really happy that AoF is removed/reworked too.
Thanks for GGG the very good work and this patch seems to be awesome! Making the game harder at every level is a reasonable objective because it was quite easy so far until Maelström of Chaos with almost every kind of senseless build. I am really waiting for trying this patch. Good job! Last edited by Pappaboy#1042 on May 8, 2012, 8:02:02 AM

" Aw. I was looking forward to breaking the game with that, too! |

GGG,this is most awesome work.I can't read all the notes now,but holy shit,I can't wait to see it in action!

" Well, it's more fun to play with 5-6 links than with 3-4 links so removing it would be bad IMO. |
|
" So you don't like it because they didn't address what YOU want? The monster AI, new class, new mechanics and new skills is huge - and they are still probably working on Act 3. Sorry that the Migration rubs you the wrong way - but after reading through the patch notes I can see why it was needed. The item progression, skills and difficulty are changing rather drastically and getting relevant balance feedback will be far more difficult w/o having a move to migration. This is beta, not your personal play-ground. |

" Chris said somewhere this bug only apply to armored crabs!!! No food in fridge... Beer it is.

" So they can allow for a higher MF at lower levels and still keep things balanced. There will probably come a point when stacking on more MF won't be a benefit - and at that point, stop stacking more on because you have effectively maxed it out. |
