But what about... Hmm. FP even more playable now? You said it needs a buff? "Checks my crit FP shadow"

Hmm.. Dosnt seem right. "Checks the passive tree" O right 3 of them thats 1 click away.. hmm.

Are you high GGG?
What? I don't see how FP is buffed with these changes...

@KaraKurri: I guess you have a point, if they reduce visuals, maybe we may be able to run 6x Dual Spork Parties o_0

50% increased Critical Strike Chance per Charge. You can easily get 5-6 power charges that are close to almost any FP build.

So 50%x6 = 300%, when you already have high base crit %. So 300% for just two passives / bandit (if you chose to do so) IS alot. Its... just so lol for so litle points spent.

A full blown full dps crit caster builds get about 295-300% crit chance from the passive tree and 140% spell crit. DO the math man. :)

And It's not really about that. ITs more about leaving the melee out. Adding 2 support gems is not what melees need. And if you've played a bit longer you would know why that I'm kinda fed up with this.

I did the math (I play crit build) and it's still just an option and not that big of a deal man. 300% is actually just 3%. Just as a perspective, you can get 9% from a maxed out Critical Weakness curse, or 1.6% from using 2 daggers. The devs have done a good job balancing the gem imo, I can think about working it into my build, but I still have to weigh the benefits carefully.

FP doesn't need more crit. It has more than enough. I think the points spent on Power Charges and the Link wasted on PCoCrit wouldn't be worth it.

Even with horrible gear, most people have ~30% crit. And FP freezes targets based on how far away they are as well, made better with Quality/faster proj, as well as the Shadow passive Freeze. So with Faster Casting most mobs would be frozen, you don't need more crit.

But then, I view Crit as a defensive stat for FP-users. The damage of a crit could be hard to deal with against reflect if you had 70%+ crit from Charges..

300% is 18%, not 3% dude.. Where are you getting your numbers? o_0
Freezing Pulse has a base crit chance of 6%.

Elemental damage visual on-hit effects now only play for the highest damaging element of the hit (tiebreakers: chaos > fire > cold > lightning).

NUUUUUU!!!11one

I have lost all faith in GGG. That was my FAVORITE thing... I'd go around saying "Omfg, look how cool my attacks are, they have all 3 element effects!!"

Fk people with bad comps needing reduced visuals.. Make it an option. Instead of flat out making Auras not look as cool, and making ele damage no longer visible. >_<

I lol'd pretty hard here, since I have 16 gig of ram, an 8 core processor, and 2 2gb video cards and I still lag to oblivion in party games.

I run crysis, battlefiled, and shogun 2 all on ultra with 50+ fps, I should be able to get in a 6 person party and have the game AT LEAST playable.

Multistrike is currently a world drop support gem.

Great, the new chain has appeared. Get ready for piece of shit prices like 2 exalted for non quality multistrike.

My comps not as good, but I haven't had any lag issues in 2-man parties. (Cuz I mostly solo)

i wonder what level multistrike is, and what level it starts to drop (which seems to be the same number)

also, i hope the melee splash is the same damage across the AoE, instead of, say, 50% of initial hit's damage applies to nearby target.

Can someone from GG shed some light on how the Critical Strike changes mentioned in the patch notes impact existing builds/combos?

Specifically, does this mean that Spark + Fork, the spark will only crit the first target it hits now... and after the Fork will no longer crit other targets?
Hell yeah, can't wait for this patch. New support gems, new uniques, balance fixes, gameplay improvements, graphic fixes to reduce my lag, map improvements, I mean really, it's like it's my fucking birthday! Thanks guys for all your hard work on this game!

I'm guessing the Combat/Movement thing referenced is the dsync issue people keep bitching about. Just something I have noticed is that when I use Ethereal Knives, it will sometimes make me run up to the enemy instead of just casting it from where I am standing. I know I can hold shift and it will cast from where I am standing, but it's difficult to circle strafe while doing this. Just figured I would mention it XD.

Again, great work and thanks for such a great game.
Did I ever tell you what the definition of insanity is? Insanity is doing the exact same fucking thing over and over again expecting shit to change. That. Is. Crazy. The first time somebody told me that, I dunno, I thought they were bullshitting me, so, I shot him. The thing is...He was right.
Hell yeah to the creation of Legacy items.

Diablo II FTW!

It means Crit works the way it has ALWAYS worked for multiple hitting skills. Like LMP+FreezePulse, 1 pulse crits, all 3 do. It doesn't crit, none of them do. It's always been like that. Now they're just making it more streamline/across the board, or just clarifying it for the new Gems.
