Content Update 3.20.0 -- Path of Exile: The Forbidden Sanctum

GGG needed to step up their game in this patch. Sure, they got rid of AN (sort of) but instead of spending so much resources on "fixing" curses, changing gems etc they should have spent some time on improving skills that have fallen behind. Also they need to communicate more with the streamers when it comes to starter builds. Streamers are extremely influential on what starter builds are shown to the public. The game doesn't look good if every single one of them feels forced to pick the same build over multiple leagues. Something needs to replace seismic and preferably a new archetype every new league.

The Bestiary recipe that creates a Unique Jewel has been changed. It now creates a Rare Talisman.


This is one of those rare cases where straight-up deleting a recipe is actually better than replacing it with just anything the dog barfed up last night :')

Stop this delusion Chris, nobody cares about talismans because you're too scared to make them useable. Maybe if it's a ring or a glove slot they could be good? Amulets are too competative though. +lvls, dot multi, stat fixes, you name it and amulet fixes it as long as you're not stupid to equip a randomly rolled and corrupted piece of garbage.

But... didn't you forget to nerf DD ?

Or should it go on so that in every league and every race, to 80% (felt) the top ten consists of Detonate Dead ?

For how many leagues is this going on now? It's getting boring...

NERF THE BUFFS AND BUFF THE NERFS!!! ALL PRAISE
Everyone saying that there are no Skill buffs, but there is a big skill buff - Archnemesis was removed, so it's a buff for ALL skills' damage as monsters will not be as tanky as they were before. We need to try and see how it actually feels but I suspect that rare monsters got noticeably weaker.
Also, there's indirect buff to bossing with every skill by using appropriate curses - For example, just a regular lvl20 Flammability now gives a whopping -36% fire resist for pinnacle bosses while previously it was only -14% (33% of -44 fire resist). That's a bonus -22% fire resistance from nothing.

Problem:
Bestiary in party-play currently awards a beast to every player when capturing beasts, causing party-play to be the best way to capture specific rare beasts many times over.

Solution:
Additional captures of a beast when playing in a party are now rolled on a per-player basis, with the chance being tied to the quantity bonus granted for playing in a party. The owner of the instance is still guaranteed to receive the captured beast.


Why do you continue to destroy party play and turn this game into single player? Whats the point of being online then?

Did we get first skill that have nothing on gem quality?

Means you cannot use withering step on movement skill bind, can still run the build.
